Besides Buffy memorabilia, what do you collect?

I know we've got some pack rats here. 😛 So, what items do you collect and treasure? Don't be shy. Inquiring minds want to know.

As for me, I collect Barbie dolls, Star Trek stuff, angel figurines, (don't blink!) and tiny jewelry boxes. People who don't know me are always surprised, because they assume that anyone who's into death metal must worship Satan or something. Ha.

What do you collect?

I'm picturing a dreadful room covered floor to ceiling in floral wallpaper and Barbies EVERYWHERE! :D
- Jerseys
- Pennants
- Harry Potter and Star Wars Memorabilia

I collect board games, and atm that's the only one. Quite surprising actually, since I have OCD and that usually comes with an unhealthy dose of hoarding syndrome, too. I have, at least, 50 board games, probably more, and I just bought a new one yesterday 🙂

(I also recently begun what will be a life-long collection of SPN memorabilia)

My bedroom looks like it belongs to an 11 year old, but no floral wallpaper; though it's a good idea. 😛

Lace curtains, dolls, cds, and jewelry boxes...it's so comforting in there.

Aw that's adorable...it's sounds just like my worst nightmare.
@Anyanka Bunny Killer Doesn't Michelle Trachtenberg collect Barbie Dolls too?

As for me, I collect coins....I have literally thousands of them. My aim is to collect a few different coins from every country of the world. Only a few left to get....if they didn't keep creating new countries.....yes I'm looking at you Transnistria, Timor-Leste & Nagorno-Karabakh! 😵

Not sure about Michelle, but sounds cool. :D
I collect way too many things... barbies, Disney dolls, 14 and 18 inch vinyl dolls, scary glass dolls, action figures, pop funkos, posters, dvds, Buffy memorabilia, etc.

"Puppet: I love that! How many do you have so far?"

I´d say about 300 or 400. I used to sort them all and even had a website for them but then Real Life just hit me and now they are lying in stacks somewhere in my bookshelf and wait for me to retire, so I have the time to catch up.

My wallet wishes I never realized it either.
Alice in Wonderland...my favorite being the blacklite posters I've got (which are over half of them). It's possible that in some subconscious way that the Cheshire Cat ("We're all mad here") is my spirit animal. 😛

I have a couple of Kim Possible stickers beyond that. If I wasn't trying to save some money for big dreams later on (combined with the expenses I have now) then I'd likely get a bunch of RWBY merch.

If money were no object then I'd have a big Victorian mansion with a lot in steampunk design (and a big grandfather clock because I just love those for some reason, and a tea cosies because Buffy wanted one and they would actually fit the decor, with Alice in Wonderland tea cosies preferred, along with custom made AiW plushies). My computer would look something like this:

When I was younger I wanted to get into SASS cowboy action shooting (a bit like a Renfaire, but for the Old West), and even had a name chosen for myself: Bullnettle Becky. I'm able to make my own costumes so I wasn't worried about that, but between the other expenses....especially getting the actual guns to use for the shooting sports...was prohibitive to me. Given that I'm a stickler for details and would insist on getting those that could pass for actual Old West guns, at least the spirit of them, it was even more expensive. I had to change my mind about going because I couldn't afford it, especially as I'd likely be able to go about once a year anyway (which would pile on even more expenses).

I collect Disney movies and Disney Lenox figurines...and I have a fair share of random Disney items, too. I also have started a collection of Leonardo Dicaprio movies.

Plush toys, mainly puppy plushes and they stay on my bed. I have at least 15 on my bed and 4 at my boyfriends and a few in the cupboard because he was complaining about the amount of teddies on the bed. All of them are named after my favourite character in the TV show I was watching when I got given each one 🙂 still missing a Wesley..

Music equipment. But I have gotten rid of a lot of my collection. (Only down to one drum kit, two electric guitars, a bass and an acoustic guitar, and half a PA system)

When I was younger I collected a lot of Garfield stuff. I still have my collection somewhere. Got a whole range of comics, plushies, ceramics and most uniquely- a lampshade (random fact; whenever Garfield parties, he wears a lampshade on his head)

Mugs. I have lots of them, and I get a new one whenever I travel somewhere cool. Not everywhere, but most places. We now have three cupboards -almost- full of mugs in the kitchen. 😀

Same goes for fridge magnets. And I always buy one for me and one for my mum. 😉

Ah, another collector of violent toys!

Not really a "collection," but I inherited all of my father's guns and rifles. Combined with my own, it's enough to put any card carrying Democrat into apoplectic shock.

Then there's my fascination for Bowie knives that started when I was about 12, and my uncle gave me the combat knife that he carried during World War 2. It's grown to several dozen good pieces, and a fair amount of wall hangers and junk, over the years.

I've got replicas of the three Highlander katanas, plus an authentic Japanese piece that's supposed to be over 150 years old, and a battle ready Wallace Claymore.

On a somewhat less violent note, I also collect old movies, mostly from post ww2 to the 70's, after which Hollywood almost totally forgot what quality in entertainment really was.

I collect underground music, 1st edition classics and philosophy (like a 1st edition copy of Whitman's Leaves of Grass) and minerals and rocks...that's about it.
