Best Acting Scenes

The scene that comes to mind for me in Angel is when Wesley steal Connor and in the hospital Angel goes from calm and caring to trying to kill his friend... Wow the first time I saw that, I didn't expect it at ALL. And then Angel yelling at him he's a dead man. Both shocking and amazing job by DB.

Yeah, I love that scene. I don't think DB gets enough credit for his acting. I mean, sure, you can tell when he started on Buffy that he hadn't acted that much but he got really good. Also love the scene of him alone just after Holtz has taken Connor, he looks so devastated.

Absolutely, without a doubt every moment of Dark Willow. When you compare the other Willows and Aly's other works, the fact that she can pull off DW is amazing. Every scene is beautiful; expresses so much pain and inability to deal. Dark Willow represents the peak of acting. How she goes from crying about Tara to wanting to rip Warren's skin off.. It's simply beautiful.

Also, SMG is pretty much all her stuff. Especially The Body, Innocence, and The Gift.

James at the end of Beneath You.

DB in IOHEFY... perhaps my favorite of his scenes.

I also think crazy Tara is really amazing.

The scenes in Lies My Parents Told Me with James Marsters..and the actress who plays his mom. I think they did those scenes beautifully. It was messed up..but WOW. James shows really good range with those scenes. Robin Wood also does a very good job showing sadness and genuine upset while Spike is beating the crap out of him. I was really impressed with that episode.

Besides from what everyone mentioned, Vamp Willow and Illyria were very well acted by Alyson Hannigan and Amy Acker.

SMG was always amazing as Buffy. Don't for get Caveman Buffy. "Want! Beer!" 😀

It's odd that so early in the show SMG was so amazing, but I am willing to argue that her performance in that scene in Prophecy Girl (Giles, I'm sixteen years old. I don't wanna die.) is the best of her career. But for more:
The Body: Like everybody, but SMG obviously stood out.
Alyson crying... just every time she cries...
David Boreanaz in Passion. Imo, he's better at acting out Angelus, and he totally pulls it off in this episode.
Nick in The Zeppo. Imo, he knew his role in that episode was his time to shine, and he pulled it off.
Nick in Hell's Bells. Do I need to say anything?
A Hole in the World. Wesley and Fred. Yeah...

Also Sarah was great in Empty Places. When they kick her out of the house, I see an honest sad reaction and the feeling she has that maybe deep down they are right.The tears were real!Great Sarah!

yeah actually, believe it or not, I had a nightmare about Angelus once after watching season 2. David was really scary but I can't deny the fact he was also extremely sexy!!!:happy29:
