Best Album of all time, ever

Hard to answer of course...
I usual goes for AC/DC's Powerage album. It's absolutely amazing with no weak spots. I love it.

I love AC/DC, Flip of the Switch is a weight room favorite
Well my favourite album ever is Aha Shake Heartbreak by Kings of Leon, so for me that would be the best album of all time, ever. And I think these two have already been mentioned but The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars by David Bowie and London Calling by The Clash are pretty amazing.

Spoons.. will you marry me? I took an oath long ago if I ever found a chick that dug the Damned I would marry her. Dave, Rat, the Cap.. oooh yeah. You getting me all exciterated.

I'm not really marriage material (does that make sense?)
The Damned are amazing though. Let's go to a gig together. Neat neat neat? Yeah.

Ya know.. I really like Grave Disorder.. even without Rat, Pinch did okay. But now, I think it's just the Cap and Dave.. I wish I could get to europa to see them.

Dark Side of the Moon. Hey with over 40 million copies sold pretty hard to argue it's NOT the best album of all time. This album has endured time... vinyl, 8 track, cassette, cd. (yes over the years I bought each format)
Sadly a founding member Richard Wright passed this week, the band in heaven just got that much better.

I agree completely. Best selling album of all time world wide... the 20th best selling album in the United States. Though it held the #1 spot in the USA for only one week, it spent a total of 741 consecutive weeks, approximately fourteen years in the top 100 albums - the longest duration of any album in history.

Sales of the album worldwide total over forty million as of 2004, (I'm sure it's even more today!) with an average of 8,000 copies sold per week and a total of 400,000 in the year of 2002 — making it the 200th best-selling album of that year nearly three decades after its initial release. It is estimated that one in every fourteen people in the U.S. under the age of fifty owns or owned a copy of this album.

So yeah, "Best Album EVER" ..... goes to Pink Floyd!

And "The Wall" wasn't bad, either. 😉

This of course means your willing to sacrife the underdog to the majority god. Best ever, for me, is personal, not numerical. I love Floyd, but I love others much more.
MUSE - Origin of Symmetry 😉

Crazy Flakes agrees: I think you're the first Muse fan I've heard of who doesn't think Absolution is their best album.

lol My fav songs are all from OfS. I mean, i love Absolution, it's a great album (well,i love all their albums), but OfS is def the best 🙂 (..for me of course!)

The greatest vs my favorite

The greatest is probably either Abbey Road or Kind of Blue
my favorite is currently Her Majesty the Decemberists

Huh, now that I think about it, Origin of Symmetry has most of my favorite Muse songs, too. I mean, Absolution has Time is Running Out, Stockholm Syndrome, and The Small Print, but OoS has New Born, Feeling Good, Space Dementia, and Citizen Erased. Maybe Absolution isn't my favorite Muse album...

Definitely one of the best grunge albums of all time...I think I like Nevermind a liiiittle bit better, but Ten's a close second.
This is almost impossible... well my musical side is is deeply rooted in 90's grunge so I'd have to say Hole- Live Through This or Nirvana- Nevermind.
