Best Angel Investigations team?

Same as the Buffy question. I say Angel, Cordy and Wes. Not that I didn't like it when the other members of the group joined, but it was nice when they were "kickin it old school" and just three friends with nothing in common solving crimes.

I almost went with Angel, Cordy, Wes, because I do love that dynamic and that part of the show. But I went with Angel, Wesley, Gunn, Fred, Lorne and Spike.

Mostly because I have deep love for Lorne and couldn't choose one without him.

Also, Spike. 🙂

I really liked the family feeling from the small group in the first season.
It felt more like co-workers later on imho.

Picked the first half of season 1 but the second half isn't bad either.

I went with Angel, Cordelia, Wesley, Gunn, Fred.... because I love the core three but Gunn and Fred give it a slightly different angle. Plus I love Fred. 🙂

I'm throwing in a vote for the Season 2 gang of Angel, Cordy, Wesley & Gunn (with Lorne making cameos). I really loved seeing the friendship build between Wesley and Gunn and watching how strong the bond was becoming between all of them after Angel fired them all. Season 2 just so happens to be my favourite season as well which helps!
