Best brand or type of tea?

I have backed off tea consumption quite a bit since discovering I am sensitive to calcium oxalates. I love peppermint tea, it's like drinking a candy cane. I also love ginger tea with a bit of honey and crushed red peppers. As far as the brand...i like Traditional Medicinals.

4 bags of Tetley British Blend every morning in my 24 oz cup, with full cream milk and a tiny bit of brown sugar (I live in the US, TBB is the best, most flavourful black tea I can find. (When I'm in the UK, I drink a variety of black teas... often English Breakfast. There's so much drinkable tea in the UK). I brew it for at least 5 minutes - but anything less than about 8 mins and I can enjoy it. For the (optional) afternoon cuppa, 2 bags of whatever the best Earl Grey I can find at the moment is... As long as it isn't (American) Twinings which i find taste-free.

I don't like any kind of lemon in any tea. I take tea with milk or cream and brown sugar or if it is herbal tea, just a little bit of sugar. since I'm a caffeine fiend, and I don't drink coffee, I mostly drink full caffeine teas unless I'm sick or stressed and in need of a relax.

Finally , a subject I actually know 😀 .
Everybody always says Twining English Breakfast and Yorkshire Tea ...and they are both excellent blends .

Thompsons (formerly Punjana) . Northern Irish blend , bit of a dark horse in the national British market but a superb cup of tea .

Glengettie . Welsh premium tea , makes a lovely brew .

Tetleys Extra Strong . just what it says on the label . A personal favourite but far too expensive .
At home I use Asda Everyday , which are the modern equivalent of Red label . Red label teas are generally very good , on a par with Tetley . For me it's mostly for economy . I used to chase round the special offers on the big brands . I like PG , love a cup of Tetley . I avoid 'onecup' teabags like the plague but I am a sucker for the really huge deals . Kept a few hundred Tetley in reserve from my last massive catering pack 😀 .

I live in the Midwest so I’m partial to sun tea.

I never used sugar or milk in herbal teas, but the other day, something possessed me to put milk and sugar in peppermint tea and was surprised it sorta tastes like spearmint milk! So now I like that for when I want a sugar boost in the day time. Cooler tastes better.

I actually did wonder if I could make peppermint tea biscuits with choc chips, but I do not need to eat anymore biscuits!

Now it's getting colder again I should sort out my teas and start taking them to work.

I make one regular tea to take with me but on cold days I'll drink herbal or fruits teas as well.

My girlfriend actually drives to the US to get Red Rose tea that you can no longer get here. My wife used to insist on Twinings tea. I hate tea so I don't care.
