Best "bromance"

Forgive me for using the term "bromance" cuz I quite hate it, but what do you think was the best friendship between two males on AtS (or Buffy)? Feel free to include a friendship between two females also if you like.

One thing I miss about the later seasons of Angel is a lot of the strong friendships between Angel/Wes, Wes/Gunn, Gunn/Angel seem to have been weakened to a degree.

It's hard to choose but I think the Wes/Angel friendship is my favorite. Angel shows a patience with early Wes' ridiculousness which humanized Angel a lot to me and I enjoyed how even with Angel firing Wes and Wes stealing Conner, they still found a way to forgive each other and remain loyal.

For girls I would have to say Buffy/Willow for the earlier seasons, Tara/Dawn for the later seasons. I think Tara/Buffy had huge potential but it was never explored properly. I would choose Buffy/Faith but Buffy never forgives Faith enough in my opinion.

Does it have to be friendship? Because Spike and Angel aren't exactly friends, but they do have this heat 😀

I don't know if Spander counts as friendship, but they're it for sure! Spike and Andrew are also a good "friendship" combination.

Spike/Andrew karma.
Haha. I'm thinking Spike and Angel in season 5 of Angel. Towards the end of the season, specially after what happened with Fred. They got a lot closer and seemed to have an actual friendship.

I also kinda want to say . . . Spike and Andrew. Haha! But Spike was actually more tolerant of Andrew than he is of a lot of people and you know Andrew like spending time with Spike. 🙂
 
I love Spike and Angel but I would have to say that friendship if complicated. I find Spike and Andrew to be good because i think not matter how much Spike plays it off he enjoys his company.

Wes/Angel are a strong male friendship and have a deep understanding. I think that may be Angel's best male friend on each level meaning trust and loyalty so on. Gunn could have been that but some of his issues get in the way.

Female wise Fred/Harmony? Jk but yes I would say Buffy/Willow for Buffy. Tara could have been in the mix but it never really happened.

Overall for the bromance I would say Wes/Angel and Spike/Andrew and a little Spike/Angel on the side 😛 Also I almost forgot Lorne. Lorne was friends with everyone! Yes Angel/Lorne are good as well.

Yes, Lorne/humankind is my OTP.
Lmao angelus/william, you know travelling europe together eating anyone they wanted, there friendship was shown alot in the flash backs of "the girl in question"
 
As of right now, it is Angel/Wesley for me. Even tho they went through a rough patch at some point. They had a good understanding of each other and Wes was definitely the closest to Angel after Cordy(on his show). Wes proved his loyalty to Angel countless times! It's too bad that he had to look like a traitor with the Connor storyline and all. 🙁

On BtVS, there wasn't much of that(as far as two guys are concerned). But I think that if Riley had stayed, Xander and him could have gotten good friends, they did share something in common. You guess what. 😉

For girls, it's definitely Buffy and Willow. Even tho it lacked a lil bit in s7, they had a great friendship through the whole show. 🙂
 
Doyle/Angel- I enjoyed their relationship. Doyle was like his first friend.

Wes/Angel- They have a great bond...minus the whole Connor deal. :/

Spike/Andrew-Spike plays it off like he hates him, but something is there...

For girls...

Buffy/Willow- Obviously.

Anya/Willow- They are funny together. Locator spells and whatnot.
 
Gunn and Wes! I loved their friendship and was so bummed to see it fall apart over their feelings for Fred.

I'm also fond of Angel and Oz. I always wanted to see the two of them interacting more.
 
Oh gosh...I love Spike and Xander but also Spike and Andrew. In Angel season 5, when "Rupert Giles' best man" aka Andrew comes to help the rogue slayer, his reaction to Spike being alive was just about the greatest thing ever.
 
I think Xander and Riley was awesome. Xander even tried to save his relationship with Buffy. That or Lorne and Angel. Really, I think that's just because I adore both of them.

For girls, I'd say Willow and Buffy, or Willow and Anya, after they understand each other better. I like them more then. (I like Willow and Fred too, but I secretly ship them.)
 
Angel and DOYLE - loved their friendship.Doyle was like his first true friend. 🙁

Wes and Angel - I think they worked together very well and had respect for each other,even tough I despised Wesley when he did that Connor thing.but they got through that,and that was huge.

And there is no better bromance for me then Angel and Spike together.lol

For girls
Obviously Buffy and Willow.
 
I think the only true Bromance was Andrew and Spikes relationship through Andrews eyes lol. But... I do like Xander and Giles relationship a lot as well as Xander and Spikes. Wes and Angels relationship was a good friendship as well despite the Connor fiasco that everyone has pointed out.

for female friendships there is no denying that Willow and Buffy is the strongest female friendship. I dont look at Dawns rerlationship with Tara as friendship as much as family after Joyce died.
