I would have to say Glory. I just love the fact that this huge metal door is being consistently knocked of it's hinges and then we see like....an evil Buffy behind it all. haha. Especially with her 'There you are! I have been looking all over for you!'

^^I agree with Glory being the best entrance. Spike's was pretty good too...I can't think of any other neat entrances 😛

I love Spike's in Lover's Walk. So freakin funny!
And i guess you could say the initiative's entrance in The Freshman... all stealthy and leaving you saying, wtf?

My favourite is more of a re-entry...Giles in "Two to go"..."I'd like to test that theory". There were cheers ringing round Pointy Towers at that scene 🙂

I loved Wesley's entrance when he went to Angel. "Rogue Demon Hunter" That cracked me up with the leather and all. What a spaz.

Not the greatest episode BUT the single greatest scene in the show - 'I'd like to test that theory'
Spike in 'School Hard' has to be the best. crashing through the sign and the "Home, sweet home" still gives me goosebumps now.
Glory's was awesome, 'cause we were expecting some big ass demon to be behind the doors, not someone like Clare.
but i think my favorite entrance has to be Gunn in 'War Zone'. the vampire running from some unknown person, the black coat flapping, who didn't think it was Angel? and then the line "You expecting somebody else?" loved every second of it.

I loved Faith's entrance in 'Faith Hope Trick' where she dusts the vamp outside the Bronze..

Kendra had a good entrance, not the best but good i thought it was worth mentioning, the whole "she's an assassin!" fake out. AND she had an even better second entrance when she was testing Buffy's reflexes!

I guess I should agree that both Giles in "Two To Go" was fabulous, there is no denying that.
I thought Spike made amazing entrances in Season 2, Season 4 AND on Angel. He's just good at making an entrance.
But, I have some other ones that left an impact.
Dawn...because she really TICKED ME OFF at first. I was SO MAD at Joss for making me think this show was different and then letting me down. And then, of course, he didn't let me down. It's hard to forget that feeling. It was the "What? Huh?....." and then a bunch of cussing.
But as far as DRAMATIC entrances....Illyria may have to take the cake. Who else can say they did away with a favorite character on the way IN....AND didn't end up being absolutely hateable in every way?

Nothing beats it, one of my favourite moments in the show. Something about Giles' arrival, and seeing despite how terrible things seem right now, you KNOW it's gonna to turn out alright with him back on the scene. 🙂
Also, I think both the subtlety and abruptness of Dawn's first appearance works very well.
And though it was long spoiled for me - Drusilla's sudden arrival to sire Darla in 'The Trial' ranks as both a highly memorable and heart-breaking moment in ATS. It's such a shame Dru was never brought back to the present day storylines to torment Angel and Buffy in both their shows.

Spike never failed to make an impressive entrance, and though most of you will probably disagree, Xander on that stupid skateboard in "Welcome To The Hellmouth" has just always stuck with me.
