Best double acts we never got?

Here's mine for starters (just thought of it): Cordy & Lorne. Can you imagine the shopping trips those two would have around LA, and their camp comments over cocktails? 🍸

Tara and Fred. Two gentle, kind souls. Great as friends, possibly more. I see them in a world whhere Willow went off the rails with magic and Tara left Sunnydale and ended up at the Hyperion when Fred realized she had nowhere to go.

Cluffy. That's right, Clem and Buffy. His respect for her is the opposite of Spuffy and he is not a problem for Buffy the way other romances have been. When Buffy takes the Potentials to the demon bar, he gives her the welcome that is the opposite of what he expected. He was the bad boy (remember kitten poker?) who actually cleaned up his act for her (or maybe in response to her threats). Cluffy wouldn't have the angst of other romances, so Buffy would be free to go about her business as would Clem.

The absolute BEST lover for Willow after Tara and Anya after Xander. Gives each an awesome story arc for S7 and beyond. The comedy would be off the charts. And, as we saw in STSP, huge amounts of chemistry between those two. In fact, two minutes of sexy demon searching was more chemistry than Killow and Spuffy combined.

Those two just make me smile.....

I love this ship. I have written this ship. They are so much outside looking in. I believe they would 'get' each other.

Giles and Anya. Way too much chemistry with their kiss under the spell.
Spike and Tara if she was written as a straight character.
Personally I could never see Faith and Buffy together like that, chemistry or not, I just think they were way too mismatched.
I do see a Willow Faith thing going on, but only as a temporary brief and doomed romance.
