Best Faith season?

Season 7 of Buffy - because she redeems herself and I think her and Buffy are set no longer at war with each other.

Season 4 of Angel - She whupped Angelus's b-hind good, plus the whole Orpheus thing was cool.

I myself am quite fond of season 3, when she shows up and shakes things up a bit.

Season 7 though, is also a favorite.

I think she was seriously mishandled in S7 Buffy. Faith is not, and has never been. a) Skate Punk b) Stupid or c) Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas. Anyway, moving on from my S7 bitterness... Dramatically she was more interesting during BTVS S4/ Angel S1, but for sheer fun, its hard to beat S3 CrazyFaith, with Angel's S4 coming a close second. Coolest. Interrogation. Ever.

LOL. would you mind developing that? I'm genuinely interested! 🙂

tho I think I know what you mean... But still a bit confused...

She just... she said Madd Skillz, Doppelganger... Madd Skillz.

Fair enough, it's something Dushku would (and does) say, (She says she has "Mad love" for Faith too) but in the time it took for her to get from LA to Sunnydale she just changed completely from being same ol' Faith to Poochy from Itchy and Scratchy. (All the yo's! Why so many Yo's?)

I totally get your point.
I've thought about this too. Like the other day, my friend asked: "Did Faith ever say five by five in the entire 7th season?"
I have only seen s7 once (and that was when it was aired in the US), so I might be wrong, but I don't remember Faith saying that even once. It was her friggin trade mark! They could've at least let her say it once. ONCE.
And also, what's up with all the yo's? She's like an old record, repeating the same thing over and over again. So, s7 was good because of Faith's redemption, but maybe not the best season for that continuity guy.

Is just me, or was Faith all of the sudden kind of a grown-up and not that crazy little kid we loved in s3?

"Is just me, or was Faith all of the sudden kind of a grown-up and not that crazy little kid we loved in s3?"

I thought she went the opposite, tbh. All the painstaking character development we'd seen in the Angel Faithisodes just got frisbeed out the window. It's like they had this massive big character profile for her, and somebody said "you know if we make her that textured and interesting we'll lose out on more Buffy speechin' time."

"SHRIEK!" cried the speech monkey. "We needs all the precious speechin' time! Just stick a highlighter on a few of her most obvious character points and run with them"

"Okay! We got... 'She's randy' 'she likes fighting!' 'She has a ____/hate relationship with Buffy' "
"You've skipped an important part of th-"
"Shut up! Moving on, 'She's "street'! 'She likes tight t shirts'.."
"Ooh, lets take advantage of that. Cameraman, I never want to see any part above Dushku's chin, is that clear?" 'Buffy feels provoked into a fight"
"Wait, isn't that an old one? Wouldn't it be completely reprehensibly appalling of Buffy to be the aggressor, now that she knows how much Faith has sacrificed to be a good guy?"
"I couldn't hear you over the implosion of Jill's soul, what was that?"

And despite all that, she was still the highlight of S7.

oooh, it's wonderful, your ranting.

But still. It feels like Faith's pancakes. All flat and stuff while, as you mentioned, the other characters have developed into something different and she wass all... grown-up boring. She wasn't fun anymore. Not to mention that hooking up with principal Wood. Like she would've done that if she was good ol' Faith!
