Best Finale of May (Warning: May Contain Spoilers.)

Some pretty extraordinary Finales this year -

Sidney Bristow fighting CHUD zombie things, and that car crash. Jack Bauer once more saving America from nuclear meltdown, only to be turned over to the Chinese for it. The big reveals on Wisteria Lane. The lack of reveals on the island of Lost. Quentin Tarantino directing the CSI finale. Enterprise and Everybody Loves Raymond gone forever. Veronica Mars locked in a flaming refridgerator.

But which was the best?

Gotta say Desperate Housewives... I've started to really love that show, and the season finale was such a great episode... Gah I love Bree... heh.
Anyways, yea, Desperate Housewives for me, definitely..

Um, and also, it's the only season finale I've seen this year, lol...

Well, they didnt have the one I wanted, which would have been the OC (I mean COMEON... Super Mom, committed for being an alcoholic... It doesnt get better than that 😉)

But I chose American Idol... Such a nerve wracking ending... BLAH!

When I was planning this thread, I was assuming I would be voting for Lost. I watched it last night, and there was no disappointment in the first half. I mean

Arnst (spelling?) getting blown up by dynamite, while lecturing on the dangers of dynamite

, how jaw-dropping was that?

I found the second half kind of padded though, and it really bugged me that there was no big reveal on the mysteries of the island, just more hints. It's Twin Peaks all over again.

So I voted Veronica Mars, because that one really delivered.

Out of all those, I've only seen four. So I decided to vote for the only one of those four that wasn't a reality show. Charmed for me. The end was completely unexpected. I'm really looking forward to next season.

I had to go with CSI Miami, they really gave a cliffhanger as to who left. CSI came in second, although having Quentin Tarentino (sp?) direct was awesome, and a close 3rd was Charmed.

Personally I loved the CSI finale. Tarantino was awesome directing it and Grissom's comment at the end made me really happy.

OK, my number 1 season finale this year was not on the list: the OC. It was nuts!!!!! But...in a good way...Bye bye Trey! Also not listed, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was awesome. They gave Lori Piestwa's family (she was PFC Jessica Lynch's best friend who died when their convoy was attacked) a whole new house of their own on 5 acres outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. It was AWESOME. Of course, I'm a little biased: I think it's the best show on tv.

Anyway, out of these listed, CSI kicked all butt. It was insane and awesome. Desperate Housewives was a VERY close second with all the craziness (literally in Zach's case) and John! OH MY GOSH John grew a backbone!! Nuts. Third...probably 24, just because...BLAH! I don't want to wait until next season!! ARGH!

Anyway, it was nice to watch all of these with a sling, cause my mom had pity on me and ran back and forth from the kitchen for me, getting me popcorn and sodas! Now that I'm starting the physical therapy and I'm not supposed to wear the sling anymore she doesn't do it anymore. Oh well, it just means the shoulder's getting better!! 😀

I'd have to say Veronica Mars for me. Got a lot of questions answered. But also Lost coming in at a very close second, with not enough questions answered 🙁 but it was still great.

Has to be the O.C. easy! (It's the only one I saw, and quite frankly the only one I wanted to see.) However, the finale for season 2 of Nip/Tuck, (which was in january methinks,) was better!

I never saw Twin Peaks, but I liked how Lost didn't reveal anything too much.

The whole Arnst thing made me jump off the couch.

All in all, I think I can say I was extremely happy and can't WAIT for next season!

Was it just me or was a certain scene in Desperate Housewives very blatantly riffing of BTVS' The Body? I was sure I was being paranoid, but TV Tome name-checked it in their review as well...
