I was watching FFL with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago and she actually didn't get that it was Spike. It took her a whole minute, I think, to realize it and she was beyond herself. I think her reaction says it all. SUCH a great transition, from ''What can I tell you baby, I've always been bad,'' to the actual antithesis of bad. So many layers are added to Spike's personality in that single moment, I get this big, stupid grin on my face every time I see it.
