Best Friend

All of them. Am I allowed to do that? 😛 It's a tough choice but really I would go with Xander. He just seems like a great guy and friend. Oh yea and hes hilarious!! 😀
 
For a "friend-with-benefits" that'd have to be Angel FTW. 😀

For a regular-friend friend, I think ATS Cordy or Fred. Fred always seemed nice, but just a little bit cuckoo, kind of like some of my friends actually. 🙂
 
I'd actually go with Angel. My very best friend in the whole wide world is very similar to Angel. He's just the most descent guy you'll ever meet (Angel and my friend); quiet, sometimes broody, but VERY loyal. I consider us like Angel and Cordelia. I make the jokes, and he laughs 😀
If not, I'd probably pick Tara. My other best friend is tons like Tara. They are both shy and extremely loyal.
But most everyone in the show would make an awsome friend.
 
Tara because she is someone who can be sweet and respective of other peoples feelings, plus she's so pretty!

Anya because we'd be like sisters, and would get along so well.

Spike because he's awesome and stuff

Fred because she's sweet and adorable and smart, I'd hang out with her a lot

Faith because she's awesome and needs a friend.

Though if I'd want somebody for defense or a good fighting partner, I'd like Illyria or Connor.
 
I would have to say Willow. I think for me, she'd be one of those friends who is just enough like you and just enough different that you can't help but be friends with them. Ideally, though, I think we'd be a little more than friends. 🙄

Anya as well, because I find her funny and loyal. I don't think I could be friends with Buffy, she's nice and all but a little bit too serious and sarcastic for my tastes. Xander, maybe. Tara, probably but she wouldn't be one of my major close friends. Cordelia, never.
 
Based on the close friendships I have in real life the answer is Willow and/or Tara and/or Fred.

I'm definitely the Cordy/Anya personality (maybe with a little bit of Faith) so I tend to surround myself with people that are much more grounding and keep me sane. My bestie (that I lived with for 4 years) is intelligent, outgoing after a couple of drinks, focussed, very earthy, and with a lot of love for animals and people, at the same time she is SO much fun, which Willow and Tara definitely are.

I wouldn't be able to be friends with Xander - in real life I would punch him in the nuts within minutes of his incredibly unfunny jokes and constant judgement.

I'd love to be friends with Wesley, but knowing my track record I would sleep with him and then things would get awkward cause he was really in love with Fred.

Tara. We're very similar in many ways (except anatomy :sigh: ), so we'd click perfectly, I think.
 
Willow or Fred or Cordy... and then see if sparks fly, and we become "more than friends." 😉

(Of course if we become more than friends and develop a great love, Joss will kill one of us)

If they're all taken (or, God forbid, not interested in me), then Gunn, Wesley from Season 5 AtS, or Giles.
 
I also choose Oz. He could get me into cool concerts, his laid-back personality makes him easy to talk to, and he's up for anything and any conversation. I'd probably have to stay away from on nights when there's a full moon, but he'd understand that.

Tara, Andrew and Xander.

Taras personality suits me best but it wouldn't hurt to have two friends even geekier than me. I could learn a lot. 😀
 
I wanna be friends with benefits with Xander. Also, he's funny and sweet and will get my back when I need him. And he's a Viking in the Sack! And he's also good at being submissive in bed, so that's a plus 😀 You can never go wrong with him.

I'd also be friends with Dawn and Willow. They love to read, and Willow writes fanfic and I'm sure Dawn ships Xander and Spike together, so we'll get along really well. 😀
 
No one on Buffy resembles my best friend (she's a one of a kind, i guess).

I guess i'd have to go with Faith (when she's not in a murderous phase) or Spike.
 
Me, Willow and Tara would make such a good nerdy friend gang. 😀 I also want to say Oz, but I think I would just end up falling for him, he's a lot like my husband. 🙂

My best friends IRL are very Cordelia, Tara, and Buffy-ish. I don't think there's any single character I can pick to represent them. In the series, I can see myself being good friends with Dawn or Buffy. Probably Dawn more than Buffy cause we're much closer in age and we're both "normal". I'll just settle for having a crush on her older sister, hehe
