Did anyone else notice the shift in friend ships in season 7?

Before Willow returned to Sunnydale we see how well Buffy and Xander are around each other, they seem almost like a family (Remember that scene where Xander turns up to collect Dawn) Then after Willow returns It does appear to be the three of them again. But look at the scene where Buffy tells Xander to take Dawn away. Or in Chosen When the three of them are walking down the Hall and they split up, Willow walks of and they each look at each other and nod (I think, maybe they wave) But then when Xander and Buffy split they take hold of each others hands?

So is it possible that Willow going evil made Xander and Buffy better friends?

thats true. i noticed. think it was harder for buffy and xander to be as close as they were with willow after what she did.

I believe it to be the contrary rather. Willow changed a lot... drastically and she became a significantly different person from Xander and Buffy. It wasn't nescessarily for the worse... she just became different. That's why I think Buffy and Xander seemed to be closer; not because of what Willow did. They forgave her.

forgave her maybe but doesnt mean they forget. somethings can never be the same again. forgiveness or not. but yeah willow changed once tara died.

I don't know... I think she changed when Buffy died... it was at that moment that she was really pulled out of the shadows and became the number 1... after that, she couldn't revert back to her number 2 position in the group.
