Best group of Scooby supporters?

The supporting cast had a tendency to shift from season to season, so which of them was your favorite and why? Buffy, Willow, Xander and Giles are the series staples, so they aren't included in the lineup. I know, I probably should've included Giles in Season 7 given the scarcity of his appearances, but as he was one of the core four, I ended up counting him out.

It's a toss between season 2 or season 3 for me.
(As it is with most things about what's best in BtVS)

Oz is a clear favorite so I want a season with him.
Besides that I think it's a hard choice. I really liked Jenny but Faith are also great.
Faith made a bigger impact on the show though. It's easier to imagine season 2 without Jenny than it is to imagine season 3 without Faith.

So I guess I'll pick season 3 in the end but both seasons are pretty equal to me.

Season 2 for me. Faith actively worked against the group in Season 3 and bumbling idiot Wesley was a net negative influence. Anya, Tara and Riley were fifth wheels in Season 3 and Season 4 and Dawn was not really a help at any time. The dog's breakfast of Season 7 certainly does not qualify.

Giles was pretty supportive at this point- Birthday surprise not-withstanding- and Faith (at least for most of the first half)- was another fully active slayer to help out with guard duty, patrolling and boyfriend dissing.

Season 2 - that group was fun, different from each other and interesting.

I vote for season two, because, in my opinion, was more balanced and the same time funny and unpredictable with Cordy ( she was, for me, the only one with Spike able to speak with her head without the fera of the judgment of Buffy and others.... She was part of the group, but at the same time no.... Very interesting!). 🙂

In season two, before the " big drama with Angelus", the group with Cordy, Angel, Jenny and Oz was heterogeneous and everyone had a specific personalities with no wish to emulate or being involved too much in " the big/ fate/ no choice/ pain/ complex regard the universe of being Buffy Summers with the wish to be normal and so on....." 😛

I wish the creator make more interaction between Cordy, Jenny and Buffy 🙁 I think they could be a solid "smaller" group instead all " the Buffy/ Angel- Angel/ Buffy" 😀

Jenny, in my opinion, had a lot of potencial as the person ( she seemed a little bit Faith, but stable) that Buffy ( and others) could talk with about issues that Giles and mother's Buffy ( and others parents) wasn't able to discuss.... 🙄

The creators should have left more space for " less important characters and apparently less charismatic".... Never mind! 🙁

Despite not being a big Angel fan (on Buffy anyway), I do like his interactions with the other scoobies and he did bring something different. Like some of the comedy between with him and Xander and the big brother thing he had going on with Willow. Jenny and Oz were both good additions too.

I have a soft spot for the S6 team as I think Dawn was growing as a character and I always love a bit of Spike😛 Would put that second behind season two.

To be fair if Spike and Anya were on my profile pic I would pick that group as my favorite group.

I went with S2. Cordy was at her best that season, Angel was on good terms with everyone but Xander, Jenny was very useful. I really liked the characters in season 2, they had a good dynamic going on.

I chose season 4 because Spike wasn't in love with Buffy in that season.

I went with season 2. I liked the whole dynamic of that season.

Plus, Jenny and Oz are some of my favorite characters.
