Over the course of Buffy and Angel we were given 4 episodes based on Halloween. Which one is your favourite? I voted Fear Itself.
Oops how did that question mark get there on my poll, ignore the question mark after All The Way, haha.
 
Fear Itself is a good episode, but I don't like seeing Buffy mope over Parker, and Halloween just does a fun concept (become your costume!) so it gets my vote. Favorite line: What are you? I'm a ghost! ..the ghost of what, exactly?
 
I love Halloween but I had to pick Fear Itself. It's a very clever episode with some great moments. I love the final line. 😀 And you have to love Anya in that ep.

I was never keen on All the Way - I didn't really get the deal with the old man and the only part I really like is Buffy and Spike's conversation in the Magic Box basement.
 
Life of the Party (closely followed by Halloween); just because it's the first episode of Buffy or Angel I ever saw and I fell in love instantly.

If I saw them in order I'd probably say Halloween, as it's a class episode.
 
I chose Fear itself. i love the end bit where the demon appears and Xander starts taunting him. Then later on Giles looks at the book and says, " actual size." PMSL!

Much better than Halloween.
 
I voted Life of the party out of all those it entertained me most can never get enough Lorne.
I will say I enjoyed all the way I may be in a minority though 😉
 
I of course voted for Halloween. Angel gets to protect Buffy and I think it is so sweet that she is in his arms. And then the moment the spell is broken and Buffy rises to a sitting position to feet and starts kicking Spike's ***.

Maybe we're in the minority, but I'm with you on this one! I actually did vote for Fear Itself, but Life of the Party is a very close 2nd.

Halloween is just a classic episode in my opinion. Really well done, lots of laughs to be had, and a tidy concept. (Every time I go to a dress up party I can't help but think about what would happen if everyone became their costumes!) I love Fear Itself, but the Parker Buffy moping really was a little to much though. Life of the Party would have got my vote if it wasn't for that comically bad HulkLorne. So silly looking. All the Way is just meh. Dawnyawn.
 
I forgot how funny Life Of The Party was. Fred and Wes drunk, Gunn taking a leak all over W&H, Eve and Angel being horny buggers and Spike being oh so positive.
 
I went with "Halloween" I think it's one of my favorite Buffy episodes. It's just a delight all the way through. In the words of Spike I'd say: "This is just... neat"

Well, All the way was per se really not a Halloween episode to me, it just happened on Halloween's period and that's it!
I haven't seen the Angel episode so...couldn't answer that one!

It was hard to pick one between Fear itself and Halloween.
I choose Halloween because:

  • of Willow finally starting to be a lil bit more confident (when she decided not to wear her costume again)
  • Giles' woman scream when Willow appears trough the wall...I always watch that moment again and again and again before watching the end
  • ETHAN RAYNE!
  • Xander was yummy in that one
  • I loooooved princess Buffy, she was stunning, and she was funny after the transformation
  • Willow's quote "Couldn't she dress up like Xena?"
  • Cordelia!
  • AND....Oz "Who is that girl?"
  • AND: Oz and Cordelia scene: "So...What do I say to Devon?" "Nothing, jeez!"

Fear itself was too scary for me (Yeah, I'm easily scared), and it was hard to watch it knowing it was one of the last Woz episode :cry3:
 
I'm tempted to choose Fear Itself just because of its brilliant ending.
But in the end Halloween wins. It's classic!

Halloween! Life of the Party is awesome too; Fear, Itself is funny, but it got old after I watched it about four times in a row (That's LOGO's fault!).
