The title says it all on this one. I want to know what your favorite vampire movie or vampire TV show is (besides Buffy and Angel), and why.

My favorite is the movie Near Dark. It's a vampire romance that takes place in the decidedly un-vamp-friendly big sky country of Wyoming. Worth seeing for the bar scene alone.

hmmmm i like dark shadows its so dumb and the acting is horrible

I love Interview with a Vampire. There's not much of a reason, I just like it. 😀 😉

oh yeah that was a good movie huh? kiersten dunst was great in it! and tom cruise- mmmmmmmmm

Probably the best vampire movie I've seen in a long time ... 😉

For movie my choice would be Blade, as for tv i'd say Kindred: The Embraced. I liked their take on it and all the different clans. The worst that i've seen was that 'Vampire High' that they showed on Sky One, that was just plain awful!

I remember watching 'Vampire High'. It was a really bad show, it just didn't have any storyline.

A film that I wasn't keen on was 'Vampires: Los Muertos'. It had Jon Bon Jovi in it. That wasn't any good either.

A film I did like though was 'Queen Of The Damned'. That was a very good film.

I remember seeing that one with Jon in it but never got round to watching it. Wasn't it a sequel to Wes Craven's 'Vampires'.

About Vampire High, not really much of a storyline, just some kids in the basement of a school, one having a major crush on some human girl....and don't even get me started on the clothes that they wore...eww

Yeah, the film was a sequel to John Carpenter's Vampires. It wasn't very good though. It lacked a good storyline.

I agree about the clothes they wore in Vampire High, they were awful...

I'd say Kindred The Embraced for the TV series based on the classic White Wolf RPG Vampire The Masquerade 🙂 although things have developed since the TV series, the Cammys now have rivals in the form of the Sabbat and other misfits and outcasts... 😀 in fact White Wolf tried to sue the creators of 'Underworld' over the mythology they used in the movie, claiming it was taken from the white wolf series 😛 Drama Drama Drama

But as for Vampire flicks, the Subspecies movies were top notch for low budget horror... also The Underworld Trilogy is gonna knock our socks off 🙂

Ooo who could forget 'Ultraviolet' too... classic tv show

My choices in order:

1. Brahm Stoker's Dracula
2. John Carpenter's Vampires
3. Dracula (the old Universal version)
4. Blade 2
5. Lost Boys
6. Blade 1
7. Interview With the Vampire
8. Love at First Bite
9. Fearless Vampire Killers: or Pardon Me But My Teeth are in Your Neck.
10. I can't remember the name of it, but it's the one where a beautiful young vampire woman is feeding and wrestling with her conscience about what she has to do to exist (Not The Hunger. The other one).

I loved both Ultraviolet and Kindred: The Embraced. I feel the same frustration for both though - killed off before their time!

I thought the girl from Kindred was so amazingly hot...I was so stoked when she showed up on Angel as Wes' girlfriend (although she was much hotter in Kindred).

Interview with a Vampire was a really good movie. Brad pitt, tom cruise and antonio banderas as vamps! yum
