Since everyone's been making separate threads for favorite moments, saddest deaths, etc., I decided to make a thread that combined all of them. So, here we go!

Top Buffy Tear-Jerker: Tara's death/Tara gets her brain sucked. I'm a sucker for the Willow/Tara romance!
Top Angel Tear-Jerker: Fred's death, no doubt. Only thing that even compares is Wesley's death. Yes, I'm also a sucker for the Fred/Wesley romance.
Best Buffyverse Death: Tara's death, because it led to the amazingness that is Dark Willow! Closely followed by Joyce's death, just because it was so well executed.
Best Angelverse Death: Fred's. A Hole In the World is one of the best hours of TV ever.
Best Buffyverse Kill: Warren! Bored now, anyone?
Best Angelverse Kill: Cyvus Vail.
Best Buffyverse Villain: As much as I love Angelus and The Mayor, Dark Willow, no contest.
Best Angelverse Villain: Lilah. Honorable mentions go to Skip (if he counts!) and, because I love Gina Torres, Jasmine.
Best Buffyverse Season Finale: Grave/The Gift.
Best Angelverse Season Finale: Not Fade Away
Best Series (Buffy or Angel) Finale: Not Fade Away
Funniest Buffyverse Moment: Practically all of Doppelgangland.
Funniest Angelverse Moment: Angel and Wes dancing! Angel's little clappy move + Wes' sweater = comedic genius.
Best Buffy/Angelverse Outfit: Spike's birthday suit! But seriously, I don't know. Maybe Giles' whole getup in Band Candy, 'cause he looked great!
Best Buffy Character: Willow!
Best Angel Character: Fred/Illyria, Wes, and Spike (I can't choose one!)
Scariest Buffy Episode: Hush (only for that shot of the Gentlemen in the window!) or Bad Eggs (the mere idea of giant bugs gives me the willies.)
Scariest Angel Episode: Hellbound

Favourite Buffy episode(s): Band Candy and Innocence(Suprise as well is included there I guess)

Favourite Angel episode(s): The Bachelor Party

Top Buffyverse/Angelverse male: Giles. Just when I think I might be leaning towards another, he says something or does something or has that cute little nervous attitude that just draws me right back in.

Top Buffyverse/Angelverse female: Joyce. 😀 haha. Just love her to bits.

Top Buffy Tear-Jerker: Joyce's death. Everyone's reactions in it, the way it was shot, the whole thing was just heart wrenching. And it struck a lot of painful, personal notes with me too.

Top Angel Tear-Jerker: Fred's death. What made me cry the most was Wesley's expression of helplessness as he had to watch her die. He could do nothing else. God, I wanted to hug him then.
And Fred's last words 'Why can I stay?'. I defy anyone who doesn't cry at that!!

Best Buffyverse Death: Oh gosh, that is a toughie. Not Buffy's because she comes back, even though that scene was stunning. It's a joint Jenny/Joyce/Tara and all for entirely different reasons. Jenny because it was such a romantically tragic and torturous death and really showed what Angelus was capable of. Joyce's because it was so real; no magic, no demons it just was. No one to blame and that's what made it hard for the characters and for the audience. And Tara's because it was so sudden, unfair and changed Willow forever.

Best Angelverse Death: Fred's. A Hole In the World is one of the best hours of TV ever. (So I copied you word for word there Crazy Flakes, but I completely agree. 🙂) Lilah's also shocked and threw me though. I thought about that one days after it aired.

Best Buffyverse Kill: Warren. He was asking for it, and I will admit I was cheering Willow on.

Best Angelverse Kill: When Angel let Darla and Dru feast on the lawyers. Wrong thing for Angel to do, but it was a bit satisfying I have to admit, haha.

Best Buffyverse Villain: Glory. Terrifying, yet tension breakingly humorous at the same time. And those clothes!

Best Angelverse Villain: Lilah. She wasn't entirely villainous but she was evil enough and I love her straight forward attitude to everything. I love one of her lines where she says about how Angel and co may die trying to save her and others and she finishes with 'But hey...greater good!'

Best Buffyverse Season Finale: I have to pick? A toss between Graduation/Becoming/The Gift. I can't narrow it down further than that okay!

Best Angelverse Season Finale: Not Fade Away. Even if it had a crappy cliffhanger. Grr...

Best Series (Buffy or Angel) Finale: Buffy. The whole thing was built up so well to such a fantastic climax. And importantly it wasn't without huge casualties- Anya and Amanda for example. I'm not counting Spike due to his ressurection. And the music was FANTABIDOSY!! Really captured the feel of the episode. And I loved how everything went back to the very beginning, even down to the Welcome to the Hellmouth-y dialogue.

Funniest Buffyverse Moment: "You had SEX with GILES????!!!!" That entire scene.

Funniest Angelverse Moment: Fred and Wesley enchantingly drunk!

Best Buffy/Angelverse Outfit: Giles and Joyce's outfits in Band Candy. Giles' because well, erm....wow, yum, grr, ogle-worthy and all of the above. And Joyce's because it's just so wonderfully seventies. And I hope I look that good in a mini skirt when I'm 42.

Best Buffy Character: Joyce, duh!

Best Angel Character: Fred. And Spike (Though he's a Buffy/Angel hybrid. But I adored him AS5. Fantastic from beginning to end)

Scariest Buffy Episode: Hush. I can't watch that episode in the dark.....

Scariest Angel Episode: Hellbound

Ooh, I answered them all. And that took a nice five minutes of my life. Hope my ramble was insightful. Haha.

Best Angelverse Kill: Cyvus Vail. I love the scene in Are You Now or Have You Ever Been when the people hang Angel, but he was already dead, so I guess it doesn't count.
Best Buffyverse Villain: Angelus, Sweet, the Gentlemen and Dracula.
Best Angelverse Villain: Faith, Billy and the Beast. I liked the concept of Holtz, but not so much the actor.
Best Buffyverse Season Finale: Graduation Day Part 2 and Grave.
Best Angelverse Season Finale: Not Fade Away, There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb and maybe Tomorrow.
Best Series (Buffy or Angel) Finale: Buffy. But I prefer the action in Not Fade Away.
Funniest Buffyverse Moment: Any scene with Ethan Rayne, the Trio and most of Xander's one-liners. And these quotes: Spike: "Oh, listen to Mary Poppins. He's got his crust all stiff and upper with that nancy boy accent. You Englishmen are always so... bloody hell. [Counting on his fingers] Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bollocks. Oh, God. I'm English."
Spike: "RANDY Giles? Why not just call me Horny Giles or Desperate-For-A-Shag Giles? I knew there was a reason I hated you."
Funniest Angelverse Moment: Angel and Wes dancing! Angel's little clappy move + Wes' sweater = comedic genius. - AGREED! Also, Spike imitating Angel in the episode In The Dark.
Best Buffy/Angelverse Outfit: Girls: Buffy when she comes on to Xander in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered.:whistle: Guys: Angel's outfits (mainly his coats).
Best Buffy Character: Xander, Angelus and Sweet.
Best Angel Character: Angel, Spike, Wesley and Faith.
Scariest Buffy Episode: Hush and maybe Bargaining.

I just realized I forgot 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered', which is the episode I most love to watch. Shame on me for forgetting!

Best Buffyverse Death: Joyce's death, no doubt about it. That was one of the most realistic portrayals of a death in the history of TV.

Best Buffyverse Kill: Adam, I don't particularly like Adam, or Season 4, but the way in which he was killed was pure genius haha.

Top Buffy Tear-Jerker: Anya's speech in "The Body", Angel and Buffy's encounter in "Innocence" in his apartment, Buffy throwing the cash at Spike in "Fool For Love"
Top Angel Tear-Jerker: Also have to say Fred's death! Wesley's was also really touching, but I think I was expecting that one much more than I was Fred's.
Best Buffyverse Death: I think probably I liked how they wrote Buffy's death in "The Gift" best... I think it flowed very well with the series and was written and acted out to a tee. Very touching
Best Angelverse Death: Probably in the very first episode when Angel pushes one of W&H's clients through the window 😀
Best Buffyverse Kill: Either Caleb in "Chosen" (he SO had it coming, classic Buffy) or Warren, just because it was such a pivitol moment
Best Angelverse Kill: Illyria. "Take your best shot, little girl". Amazing :lmao:
Best Buffyverse Villain: Also agree with CR on this one. I loved Angelus, Evil Spike, but really and truly Dark Willow was the best in my books

Funniest Buffyverse Moment: "You made a bear! Undo it! Undo it!" was a great line, but probably the entirety of that scene with Spike tied up was awesome.
Funniest Angelverse Moment: "You're a wee little puppet man!" again, by Spike in "Smile Time".
Best Buffy/Angelverse Outfit: I liked how they wrote in Illyria's outfit but probably Tara's dress in "Once More With Feeling"-- I really do wish I owned it 🙂
Best Buffy Character: Tara, I love everyone to no end but really I never DIDN'T like her... very relatable, down to earth.
Best Angel Character: Fred/Illyria, especially in "The Girl in Question" and NFA when Amy moves back and forth almost seemless between the two characters. I was very impressed
Scariest Buffy Episode: Definitely "Killed by Death" in season 2, I still won't watch that episode!
Scariest Angel Episode: I didn't see too too many Angel episodes, so I really cannot think of one!
 
1. I haven't seen a single episode of Angel, so this will be much shorter than everyone elses.
2. I've seen S1,2,3,6 and I'm on episode 8 (plus Hush) of S4.
Favourite Buffy episode(s): The Pack; Ted; Passion; Go Fish (I think it was the very first Buffy ep I've ever seen, so it holds a special place in my heart); The Zeppo; Helpless; Living Conditions; Beer Bad; Hush; Once More, With Feeling; Tabula Rasa; Normal Again; Villians ("Bored Now..."); Wolves at the Gate Pt. 1 😛
