Something Blue.

Hush is darn near in tie with it but Something Blue was the first episode of Buffy that I effortlessly remembered the title due to how spanktastically great it was. Not to mention my a$$ was at the other end of the couch cause I laughed it off (except Willow's pain, I didn't laugh that off). Oh, and Hi. 🙂 I'm new, I'll be 'checking in' soon.

Hmm...I would have to say that it's a toss between Hush, A New Man, Something Blue and the TYG/WAR two-parter.
I just love Hush because it's so cool and hello? How can those Gentlemen NOT freak the hell out of you? A New Man- a Gilescentric ep (very nice) and him as a Fyarl is just hilarious, add to that his chasing of Maggie and Spike's helping for money makes a classic episode. Something Blue- foraaaaall the reasons you guys have mentioned. Highlight got to be the Spuffiness and Giles' abhorance of it all, haha. And TYG/WAG because it's just fantastic. SMG and Eliza are just freakily good at playing each other's characters, I mean you literally have to say to yourself 'no they're just acting remember? they're not actually in each other's bodies'. Plus, you gotta love that Faith and Joyce scene purely for Joyce's line of 'are you going to slit my throat anytime soon?' and Buffy's appropriate smashing-through-the-window timliness.

lol Spike being helpless was hilarious, and Buffy all 'look at my nice juicy neck' lol

"Oh, Giles Make her stop" lmao

funny funny

So far Wild at Heart is my favorite because it was so Oz focused and had a very sad but amazing/sad lol ending but i loved the spike helpless eps

I definitely had to vote for Hush. That was without doubt the best episode for me. And the creepiest as well.

In my opinion, Restless is the best. I mean who of us have not been in the prescence of cheese slices and not quote the Cheese Guy?? Hush is a close second, the only episode that can be quoted without ACTUALLY being quoted. See: Anya's notorious gesture

Restless rules!
I loved "Hush" its so creative and so classic! The gentlemen are really creepy!

My vote's for 'Restless' - that's the ultimate. Dream sequences, chaotic plots, excellent sound, witty dialogues - just recall the gang going childish in Xander dream: especially Spike and Giles on a swing or cheese-guy.

Though I could also vote for the following if I haven't seen 'Restless' at all:
1. 'The Hush' - mute performance - actors did their job quite well in this one. These creepy Gentelmen, reminded me of my boss.
2. And I also totally loved 'Something Blue' - it was so hilarious - it made me laugh hysterically while watching it for the first time.

I voted for Restless, because I think it's just such an incredible episode. It's one of my all time favourites, I love it.

This season though I also liked This Year's Girl, because the whole body switching thing was great, and it's always good to see Faith being... Faith.
And also the last part of Primeval, I loved how they combined themselves with that awesome spell and Buffy became like uber-slayer.

Hooray for Restless!!
I voted for "Hush" not just because everyone, including the critics :iamwithst , says it is but simply because this episode is creepy. I mean, think about what it would be like not to be able to scream and raise alarm when something horrible is about to happen to you. If you can then you know what this episode is all about. Even with the creep factor it had funny moments between Xander, Spike, and Anya and also when the "Scoobies" are in the classroom and Buffy makes a stake gesture that gets misinterpreted. Classic Whedon! That haunting song sung by that little kid still sticks with me today.

Can't even shout, can't even cry.
The gentlemen are coming by.
Looking in windows, knocking on doors.
They need to take seven, and they might take yours.
Can't call to Mom, can't say a word.
You're gonna die-a-screaming, but you won't be heard.

Oh, I have that song on my phone. It's incredibly spooky.

Actually this counting-out rhyme as spooky as Nightmare on the Elm Street's one. Quite clear where's Whedon got his influence for this one. it scored some more points in my heart for such tribute to my favorite spooky movie.

Yet, what about 'tribal' sound of the Restless? isn't it amazing? That Dead Can Dance desert song styled theme? It haunts me everytime I see the Restless. Grabs me away from this reality. Terribly sorry Hush guys, but the Restless is way cooler.

Will anyone support me? 😉
