Best Season 6 Episode?

I cannot cast a vote yet, since I have only recently gotten through "Tabula Rasa", but I *can* say that it and "Once More, With Feeling" are, IMNAAHO, the strongest nonfinale back-to-back Buffy segments that I've seen to date. Props go to Mr. Whedon and Ms. Kirshner. 🙂

 

[Another Apocalypse?]

Once More With Feeling. It allowed us to see a bit more into the psyche of everybody's position currently in the season, it allowed Buffy to tell the Scoobies that they pulled her down from what was apparently heaven, Giles expressed the fact that he knows he's holding Buffy down, Tara finds out about Willow's groovy memory tricks, and all in song!

I went with the majority and voted "Once More With Feeling", even though I haven't seen the entire episode. What I did see was PRICELESS.

I'm gonna have to say Tabula Rasa. The reason behind my choice being, that after the episode aired I got on the phone with my friend Blake and did the recap of the entire (and I mean entire) episode to him. It must've taken about 45 minutes to tell him everything. After that he started to screen my calls. I would have to lie about what I wanted to tell him so that he would talk to me.

One of my fond memories and the reason to some of my madness. 😀

I'd say either Once More With Feeling (one of my fave episodes of all time), or the final three episodes with the FABULOUS evil Willow story arc. I can't choose between them.

Any episode that can successfully follow on from something so great as Once More With Feeling without your attention waning, gets my vote.
In fact, OMwF sometimes i fast forward through the dialogue only for the music, where as Tabula Rasa is watched all the way through.

Its hard for me to choose between Seeing Red, Villains, Two to Go, and Grave, cuz to me they are so important to each other....but then, there's the whole dark willow arc in there so thats prolly why i like them all so much. So I'm going to have to go with Grave because it was the most action-packed....i mean most of the episode was the fight(s)

I've just recently seen the rest of the season, and I'd like to add that Tabula Rasa (Randy Giles!) and Grave are good too. Especially Xander saving the earth. With love. Corny, but cool.

i love s6 so theres no way i could choose, i have sooo many favs, theres only like one or too i dont like but the rest are amazing, in the end it was between Bargaining 1, 2 and Grave, they were some great eps in that season though!!

Duuuude. This is one of my favorite seasons, I'm not picking. That's insane.

I love almost all of them! The only episodes I don't like are Bargaining Parts 1/2, Wrecked, and Doublemeat Palace.

Season 6 wasn't my most favourite season. It was a little bit too dark for me, so my favourite episode has got to be Tabula Rasa. It was incredibly funny (ignoring the ending when the spell had worn off) with some of the best dialogue being between Giles and Spike.

It was a good, fun episode 🙂

i personally have my two fav eps.. 1) tabula rasa.. 2) smashed and 3) dead things.. ( i know that a lot of people dnt like this ep but i love it)

I love this season!
Once more With Feelimg, Tabula Rasa and Afterlife are my favs - though most episodes have something to like in them, even the ones that are initially too confronting. I think this is the strength of the season. It may not be stereotypically 'enjoyable' in a conventional sense but its gritty and dirty and intense and sexy and violent and scary and confusing and sad and happy and funny. it tells a great story.

For me, it's a tie between Normal Again, Once More with Feeling, and Tabula Rasa. I love so many episodes from this season; it's too hard to choose.

OMWF, Wrecked, Hells Bells and Seeing Red.

Everyone seems to love Once More With Feeling, I don't love it as much as I did the first time I saw it, but of course it's a wonderful episode - plus I'm pretty much a musical fanatic :]

Wrecked - Well, after Tough Love, this is basically the first glimpse of Evil Willow - or in the words of Andrew and Jonathan; Darth Rosenberg =P - and who doesn't love her? Dark Willow rocks.

Hells Bells - Hmm, I'm not sure why I like this episode...my favourite characters heart got broken...? Oh well, I still love it, I mostly love the phony visions, I'm not sure why, it's just really interesting to see them.

Seeing Red - By saying this was one of my favourite episodes that doesn't mean I LIKE it, no way, it makes me cry so much I'm suprised I don't flood my house whenever I see it. Though it was an important episode in the scheme of things, but why oh why did Tara die :[
