Ive only read No future for you, Anywhere but here and wolves pt4.
I loved NFFY and cant imagine it being topped, but as i aint read most of
them i wanted to see what other s8 fans thought.

I've enjoyed all of the story arcs up to this point, but the return of one of the potentially most interesting characters in the genre (Dracula) makes "Wolves At The Gate" my current favorite.

I love Faith so I had to pick No Future For You. There was a lot good character stuff in this arc and less silly fighting with giant robots or flying witches. Loved the tension between Buffy and Giles and the relationship with Faith and Giles is very interesting, can't wait to see more of that.

No future for you def, i thought is was a well done story and i love faith to death. The ily complaint is i wished it would have been a few more issues but on the whole it was the best so far.

I actually thought The Long Way Home was the best arc. Most people thought it was kind of weak, but I disagree 100%...sure, the storyline was a bit weird and/or vague at times, but the pitch-perfect dialog really saved it.

My favorite issue overall, though, was Anywhere But Here. I was really starting to miss the whole Buffy/Willow dynamic, and it's nice be reminded that they're still the same people that they were in high school, even though Buffy's the leader of a huge Slayer army and Willow is, as Amy said, a "Great big all-powerful earth-mother witch goddess."

Agreed, my fave is still LWH
I've only read up to issue 10 or so thus far, but so far my favourite issues have been the first couple for sure. Although I'm still not QUITE sure how I like the new season as far as plot goes, I really did like seeing the characters being introduced. I thought that the drawings/captions all reflected the characters to a "tee", and I have to say, Willow's entrance "I'd like to test that theory" was probably my favourite line thus far.

This may change when I can read more, but until then I'm sticking to "The Long Way Home" 🙂

Wolves at the gate. It had daring and new twists, it had the best characterizations. It gave us vampires and it made Dracula more layered and interesting. Plus, it was BtVS funny! I can see myself reading it over and over again.

While I enjoyed No Future for You, it was just another character study, and too Faith centric for my taste.

I voted for No Future For You because, for me, it was the most satisfying.

If i had to rank them it would go:
1. No Future for You
2. Long Way Home
3. Other - the one shots
4. (by a loooong way) Wolves at the Gate (which for me would be the equivilent of say, 'Beer Bad' or 'Where the Wild Things Are' - just my opinion🙂

Yep, only YOUR opinion. :)
I voted for WatG. It reminded me of old-school Buffy. It made me feel just like I was watching an episode.

Next would be TLWH. Mainly just because it's the opener.

Then NFFY. I don't really like how they made a whole 4-Part arc specifically on Faith. To me Buffy S8 should be about BUFFY. Not anyone else. (A Willow or Xander arc would be fine by me too 🙂 )

Faith's return was amazing. She might even be my favorite character of the season. NFFY for sure! 🙂

Although I feel almost heretic saying so, I must agree with those who preferred No Future for You over Long Way Home. Joss is a genius at writing for TV, but the comics episodes are a bit too hard to follow for my taste, when he applies the same techniques to a very different medium. That said, it's extremely interesting to see where he wants to take the characters and story line. By the way did anybody else see him quoted as saying that he would gladly toss the "canon" of Season 8 if that turns out necessary for a new Buffy movie? Forgot where I read it...

Out of those, Wolves at the Gate

In all honesty I actually preferred all of the one off issues, like The Chain and A Beautiful Sunset to any of the arc issues.

Imo, A Beautiful Sunset is the only one that's actualy felt like a Buffy episode and been utterly brillient

I just spent part of my day reading them all again.
Would say No Future For You is my favorite so far.
