This was by far the best season ever...with the introduction of Spike and Dru, and lame old whining Angel turning evil actually made him interesting as a character. The tension between him and Buffy was great.

of the three seasons i've completed so far, this one was the best.

While I felt bad for Buffy, Boreanaz was 0N FIRE as Angelus.

And the addition of Spike and Druscilla really made it quite lively.

It's not my favorite, but it's second. The storyline was interesting, and bringing Angelus in it was great. We like Angel when he's evil, and loving it!

I used to think this was one of the best seasons, but I really don't enjoy it as much as I used to. I don't know if I've just watched it too many times or if I've just aged and relate less to the High School era of the show but now I prefer the post college seasons for the most part.

This season is alright, i thought there were still way too many stand alone eps and it only really got amazing in the last half after Angel turned evil. before that it was kind of annoying. personally my fav season was 6 b/c of the darkness and that is why i liked the last part of season 2 b/c of the darkness, but the begining was so so....pretty good but not phenominal.

This is my joint favorite season. I love Season 3 as much as this one. I love the emotion and action throughout this series. Buffy's opponents in this season are so well matched for her. The Angelus and Buffy fights are amazing to watch. Not to mention the emotional rollacoster she goes on because of what happens with Angel. The death of a main character was also a shocking factor. There are a lot of powerful episodes in this series, and it goes into detail in a lot more relationships other than Buffy and Angels. The love triangle with Willow/Xander/Cordy is heartbreaking from Willows poit of view and then Giles heartache at finding someone to be with and then loosing her through Angelus' actions is powerful stuff.

I'm exactly the same, 2&3 are completely tied and I agree with pretty much everything you say here!
I can honestly say that there isn't one season of Buffy that I don't like. However I am a bigger of fan of the later seasons, although season 3 is absolutely one of my favorites, becasue I like how dark they get as the series goes on.

I like the second seaosn because it introduces Spike, one of my absolute favorite characters, but I don't think it is the best. Season 6 is my favorite because, as I said in an earlier post, the season is about the power of love and the things it can make us do.

I agree with everything you just said!
Agreed, it still remains the strongest when i view it, the whole angelus and introduction of spike plus the heavy drama makes me love it every watch.

I have no favourite season but if i did, it would probably be season ... nah, can't choose one

🙂

But it was good, with the new characters and everything.

Season six was the best as it took things to a whole new level. It kept me on the edge of my seat near the end.

Season two was very emotional as well and threw a lot of heart wrenching moments at the scoobies. You really saw a lot of character development in all of them. And hey, SPIKE! Hehehe. I agree that Angel is much more interesting evil. David really does well as Angelus.

You know what. I really havent give season 2 as much props as it deserves. But after watching a couple episodes of that season today ("whats my line part2" and "the becoming part1") i remembered how really good that season was. Ms Calendar dying, kendra dying, Oz/spike/druscilla/and angelus appearing. That season was sick and, as morbid as it might sound, i love buffy wayy more when its darker and has alot of death in it. So yea, season2 is definately rising in my book. but after angel turned evil. He's the best when he's bad.

For some reason, I really got bored throughout this season.
I guess it got kind of repetitive.

My two favourite sesons are this one and Season 4. This season shows how Buffy starts to mature and get to grips with the slaying. In season One you could see she acted like any other high school kid but after facing the master you can see how she come into her own. I also liked Season 4 as it shows how all of teh characters change as times change, for example they were all going off to college or getting jobs, showing how they have matured. But for me its a coin toss between Season 2 & 4 for my favourite 😀

I love the Angelus storyline, but it takes a while for the season to really kick off, and a lot of the standalones aren't that great for me.

Well first of all, I love every season but the ones when Buffy was in High School were the best. So, that's one reason I like season 2. Next, there's Spike and Dru and they're my second favorite Buffy couple. Spike and Dru separately and together are great characters, a great mix, and great fun! Then of course there's Angelus and I loved him and loved how we got to see another, much deeper side of Angel. Of course, that brought a lot of emotion to the table and when a show or movie or book makes me cry, it means I have a connection to it, and I actually care. Also, there were so many good lines and most of my favorite episodes come from season 2.
