Best season ever?

Sorry if there's a thread already posted similar to this, but I just want to know if people think season 3 was the best one out of all the Buffy seasons? Yay or nay? 🙂

naa, i think season 6 will always be the best, or season 2.

I have to agree Season 3 is definatly one of if not the best season for me anyway, mainly due in large part to Faith and of course Season three had my favourite epsode Homecoming :happy53:

I like season three, but it's not my favourite - that would be season five, followed by six.

I remember doing a breakdown in another thread some time ago and I ended up with deciding that season 3 was my favorite.

It's a close call though...

Three is pretty damn good. I think it's between 2, 3 & 5 for me.

S3 was good, without question, but I prefer s2. It just had the most awesomest standalone episodes, plus Angelus...no competition, sorry.

This is probably my fav season. The Mayor was awesome, and Faith was brilliant.

Season 2 was best for me, followed by six. I like three very, very much but the thing that made it suck for me was the fact that the Mayor became a CGI snake that wasn't in the least bit scary. They went through the whole complicated task of blowing up the school and sacrificing people's lives to defeat him when I know for a fact that the military could've destroyed that thing. Sorry, it was cheesy. I just think it fizzled there. If he would've become something a little more believable and not computer animated, then it would be the best.

I didn't like Trick or Slayerfest... that was just a little too silly for my taste. The idea behing Slayerfest wasn't bad, but the way they made it sound like some MTV game show just put me off.

The Mayor is probably my favorite of the Big Bads, but I wouldn't say that his is my favorite season. There are some great episodes in here of course, but I like 5 and 6 a bit better.

i loved season 3, mostly because of the relationship between Faith and the Mayor.
Oh, and also because Angel returned!

I went blind because of Faith and said, season 3 is the best for a while. But now, I think it's season 2.

It's season 6 for me, althought season 3 is a close second.

I'm with ya. I origionally thought season 2 was my favorite, and it was my first time through. But, season 2 only works the first time through. After I know exactly what's going to happen I think it cheapens the Angel plot. Season 3, on the other hand, was just as fun the 2nd time through, and I think that's part of what makes an excellent story, the ability to stay interested even though I know what's coming. Season 2, and then 7 are my next favorites, of course.
