Best season ever?

seasons 2 and 5 are my favorite with 3 and 6 in second place. I absolutely loved faith in s3 and in s4 of angel. she made season 3 amazing, but the angelus arc of season 2 and the end of season 5 are just a smidge better in my opinion.
 
it's definitely my favorite season, it introduced Faith, had a great villain in the Mayor (I loved how he wasn't your typical Big bad)
 
Go season 6! I love how detactched buffy is, such raw emotion. My second favorite then is either 5 or 7 just because i love Chosen so much. Couldn't help but notice no one picked S4? haha
 
Season three is a really great season, it\'s got great epsiodes and lines and stuff, but there\'s not enough Spike.
I personally like season 5 and 6 better.
But, from a non-major spike supporters point of view, i guess Season 3 would be the best.
 
I love season three, defintely one of its best seasons, the show is on fire, with some of the most imaginative and well told stories in the show's seven season run. The only thing I would say it lacks, and going by some of the other posts here is pretty much a majority opinion, is Spike, but at least his appearance is a season highlight, but for the most part any season of television that features episodes like Dopplegangland, The Wish, Amends and Graduation Day as well as a villain as memorable as The Mayor has gotta be good.
 
I think season 3 was the second best, season 2 wins it. With the intro of Oz, Xander/Cordy, and ANGELUS.. how does it get any better than that?

Season 3 was great because of Faith, the return of Angel (and Angelus, kind of, in the episode 'enemies'), and Xander/Willow's little romance. So there's my ranking lol
 
Overall, I think Season 3 was the best season. So much happened among the Scoobies to shake them up, and then of course the finale with the destruction of the school and the big battle scene... A lot happened, and I think all of it was done so very well. And unlike the other seasons, I can't think of very many eps that I really hated. So Season 3 gets my vote as best overall.
 
Season three is really good my third favourite season lol...
The action got much better then previous season,More funny lines . For an example.

"WILLOW Ah, you know, Buffy, I don't even think Giles is right about you becoming like a demon. I mean he's totally burnt. You know, dealing with faith and this ascension thing. Between you and me, he's not doing his best work.

BUFFY What if he is right? I'm suddenly going to grow this demon part and we don't even know what it is. It could be claws or scales... Willow's expression turns shocked.
BUFFY What?
WILLOW Was it a boy demon? LMAO 😉
 
My vote comes down between season two and three! They both have some of my favorite episodes and story lines of the whole series in those two seasons. Plus Evil Angel and the Mayor as the big bads just added to the whole thing!
