Those episodes in Season 4 always stick with me. Faith pretty much gives her all to save the day, almost dying a few times in the process. You get her and Wesley working together, her and Angelus snarking, and that nice Angel/Faith scene at the end.
Her performance is near perfect, she gets some great lines and she looks gorgeous.

I think the best scenes for me are where Faith resists Wes and his 'it's what you'll need to beat him' speech. It was important for her not to embrace that dark part of herself, to fight against it and find another, better way to win. So much better than 'Get It Done'.
The other was Faith and Angel in that (dream) alley as he tells her that she needs to fight, because her (their) time is never up. She still has a job to do.

And I do like that in the comics she's still doing it, and hasn't lost sight of what's important.

I went with Angel s4. Faith gets to be bad ass. Breaking out of prison, going up against the beast, trash talking with Angelus, and then risking her life to save Angel.

I think it's the only time she's referred to as Faith the vampire slayer. Wes trying to get her to go bad again and her resisting. Talking back to and Beating up Connor was awesome!

It was a tough choice between BtVS s3 and Ats s4 but in the end I went with Btvs because there's more of her and because while I liked the idea of a second Slayer, I never liked Kendra, so I thought Faith being around and liking her was a nice change of pace/nice addition of tension to the general cast. 🙂

Angel season 1, because that's where she starts to seek redemption and realizes that the evil things she has done were wrong (and she also tilts her head a lot in those two episodes...)

Its 3 for me by quite a distance. But what I like about when they bring her back in Buffy and Angel is that the episodes involving Faith are pretty much always stand out episodes and advance the character. Wish she was in Buffy season 4 a bit more.

I've gone for Buffy Season 3. Quantity is an important factor. This is the Season where she has the most screen time and we get a good variety of what she's about. She has good dynamics with the Scoobies both as an ally and antagonist and forms an impressive psychotic team with The Mayor. The later Faith arcs are strong as well but aren't long enough to top the first impression from Season 3.

Buffy Season 7 when she shows up with Willow to help save the day.
One of the better things to brighten up all the stinkiness surrounding that season.

I prefer Faith in btvs season 3 and 4, and ats season 1 and the little bit she was in of 2. She was still badass and sexy in ats season 4 and btvs season 7, and I love that she's worked through her issues and is basically a good person. However she seems different, a little more sad I guess, with a slightly different personality. She's not as fun and flirty, I mean she barely smiles in those eight episodes! Granted both series were going through some serious stuff at the time. I also think her time in season 7 could have been a little better spent then what they wrote for her. Either way, I am super grateful that she was in the last episode of btvs with the scoobies.

Yes! She should have been more flirty and fun in S7! And by that, I mean with Buffy! 😛Although has her moments, like with Spike in the basement. And I like her little scene with Kennedy in the kitchen. Plus then she gets to stand up and yell at Kennedy, so there's that. lol.

I agree. Like, her and Wood? Why? Just no. I am into Spuffy but was kind of over it at that point and would have no problems with it being done. Buffy went through her own dark stuff in season 6 (basically what Faith had been talking about in season 3) and she can understand Faith better now then ever. THEY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOGETHER. Or at LEAST Buffy should be more forgiving with Faith. Why are they still fighting? Buffy and Faith are both kind of hard here. I also think The Mayor/the First's speech should have been more detailed on Faith's love for Buffy and made it clear without a doubt instead of endless subtext "...to love you, even." Faith and Spike are so good looking that it's almost weird to see them on screen at the same time😉.

It also brings up a question I have for people who think Faith had feelings for Buffy, and it's: does she still have those feelings in season 7/the comics?

Exactly!
I prefer Faith in btvs season 3 and 4, . She was still badass and sexy in ats season 4 and btvs season 7, and I love that she's worked through her issues and is basically a good person. However she seems different, a little more sad I guess, with a slightly different personality.

That's exactly what I said...lol
The best Faith episodes are 'Who Are You' and 'Five by Five', so I'm torn between Buffy season 4 and Angel season 1. But Faith's always awesome. I'm also kinda tempted to say season 9, since Faith finally gets a regular starring role in it for a full season, and it's a really great story.

I like a lot Faith in season seven, because for the first time she was able to open herself and tell the truth about her issues with Buffy.... understanding better than anyone the loneliness and the hard time as leader ( and all this in a short time)... And admitting how scary she was after "The First".... She was a "new Faith" who accept to be a bit less reckless, egocentric and with an attempt to be part of a group... Excellent start for " a minor character" compared to the horrible " involution" of the best friends of Buffy! 🙄
