Best Season of Buffy?

What do you believe is the best season of Buffy? For me, it came down to season 3 or season 5. I'm going to go with season 3. Why?
Unlike season 5 and on, it did not include Dawn.
Season 3 = introduction of Faith.
Faith goes from "good" slayer to bad girl in one season.
The Buffy/Angel relationship reaches it best points and then ends. (I'm a sucker for a tragic love story.)
The introduction of Anya, who would go on to become one of my favorite characters.
A good deal of my favorite episodes are from season 3:
Earshot, The Prom, Bad Girls, Enemies, and Amends

[What happened to good TV?]

I voted season 2.

ALL seasons I loved, but season 2 was when I realised how good the show was. The acting really picked up, the storys were awesome, I loved Joyce and Buffy scenes. Surprise and Innocene! Becoming! Spike and Dru! Angelus! Oz and Willow! Xander and Cordy! The entire female poulation after xander! Giles and Jenny! I really liked the episode Ted. I remembered not liking it ages ago, but i recently rewatched it and thought it was really awesome! even though i cant relate to single parent situations I thought it was really powerful!

Relationships at there most entertaining, the writers at their peak, the show still fresh and new! In my opinion a faultless season!

(All the others are great too, but as I had to chose.....lol)

Season 6. It got darker and the storylines got really real. Most of my favorite episodes were in this season, so ... Yeah. 😀

I must say that Season 6 was my favourite one too, I just like the episodes more. I really didn't like the season openers, but then I loved episodes like Two to go, Once more with feeling, tabula rasa etc. I just thought that after episode 2 it got so much better!

I voted for season 3, I just think there is something about it, it's just fantastic! But I also Loved season 7, 5, and 6.
7 for it's epic story, which I really enjoyed, I loved the potentials and seeing Willow struggling with her magick.
5 also for it's epic storyline, I loved how they introduced Dawn and hen built up all that stuff till the all action season finale!
6 I also loved but not so much for the same reasons as the others, I more had some favourite stand alone episodes in this one like OMWF, Gone, Older and Far away. And I absolutely loved the Willow/Magick Storyline they had running through the season, right from the start till the amazing last 3 episodes!

I voted 4 because as I expected it has 0 votes so far. I really like season 4, it has my favourite characters (Oz, Spike) and I like the sets used, they felt warm. I really got into the main plot with Adam, plus it had some great scenes like the Primeval ending. It also had the most Angel links. Season 4 is my favourite.

If I was voting for what I really think is the 'best' season I'd have chosen seaosn 3. It had a tigher main arc then previous seasons, but also had some of the best standalones. Faith was a brilliant character because she had a strong effect on all of the others, Buffy in particular. Good bad guy, great finale, nice cast line up.

Here's how I'd rate each season (they're low because I'm comparing them to Angel, which I prefer greatly):

Season 2: 6/10
Seaosn 3: 7/10
Season 4: 7/10
Season 5: 6/10
Season 6: 4/10
Season 7: 2/10

I voted for season three, because I've only seen seasons 1-3 in their entirety. I've only missed a few episodes from season four, however. But that, without a doubt, is IMO the worst season. I hated Riley, Adam, and a lot more aspects of it, although it did contain some awesome episodes.

Season Three...well, it introduced Eliza Dushku, it's basically the hottest girl on the show, and Faith was always an interesting character for me. Very complex and intriguing.

However I loved season one for it's Big Bad, I just loved The Master. While season two is enjoyable nothing about it really stands out for me. I haven't seen enough from seasons 5-7 yet to make firm opinions but I loved what I saw of season seven.

Season 3 gets my vote. This season was excellent, and Faith came to town.

I voted season 7. Never done that before. Actually surprised myself there. But season 7 rocks, and it's definitely one of the best (wow I so didn't think that two years ago, heh)..

Other ones that are unbelievably great are season 3, 5 and 6.. Mhm.

I voted for season 3. That season was just amazing. The Mayor and Faith were so great together and they had a father daughter bond that no other villian in BtVS had. It also has a bunch of my favorite episodes like Homecoming, The Wish, Doppelgangland, and Earshot. This season was the one that got me hooked into BtVS in the first place.

even tho i naturally love all season and would watch any at any time!
