And your best and worst part of the series.
Best season for me was s4, i dunno why, but i really loved it. Best part, The second half of season 2 with Buffy and Angelus, totally gripping stuff. Especially Innocence.
Worst season, s6. And worst part, introducing Dawn, right out of the blue, like What The...

Season 5 but season 6 is the one I re-watch the most as I relate to it more. Season 5 had all the ingredients for a powerful show and I think the storylines and character development were at their best at that point.

Worst season for me is Season 1. I never watch it as I think the quality is terrible compared to the other seasons.

Maybe I picked you up assways, but wasn't Dawn introduced in Season 5, and not 6.

Favorite Season has to be 2, but it's really a toss up between 2 & 3, with season 4 coming close up behind.

Favorite part? it is not 1 singular thing. It has to be the sublime atmosphere that permeated the show, and like all great things, that what refuses to be easily defined, and what made it a cult classic.
 
Sweet J, i know, My unfavorite season was 6, but my most unfavorite part was the dawn thing. I could've just repped you, but i cant 🙁
 
Its definately a toss up between S5 and 3 for me. If i was pushed i would say S5 edges it - has three of my favourite episodes - The Gift, The Body, Fool For Love - Glory is an incredible villain- absolutely hilarious - and the whole storyline about Glory's search for the key, Dawn, Buffy's sacrifice, the nature of the Slayer is really exciting.

I love season 3 though - Faith is one of my favourite characters and that whole arc made the Season -Consequences is a classic for me.

For me it's a tie between season 6 and 7, I voted 6 just randomly 😀
 
My fav season is season 3

My favorite part of the series was the second half of season 2 as well

And the worst part of the series for me was the first half of season 5, it got good in the second half though
 
For me the best season of Buffy was S5! 🙂 Really great great stuff! Of course S3 was very good too, but had to make a choice.

The best part of the show? That's a tough one too. I really liked the stretch during S4 of New Moon Rising -> The Yoko Factor -> Primeval -> Restless... But honestly nothing can beat S3. There are so many great episodes in a row... Pretty much the whole season, save for 'The Wish'.
 
S5 is my favourite season, followed by S2 and S3. I think S3 was the most consistent season, with a whole string of great episodes just coming one after the other, and S5 was the next most consistent. S2 is my second favourite purely because of the gripping second half.
 
Season 3 is my favorite, s2 & 3 are the best IMO, but the third is slightly better. The villian, the dialogue, the scoobies, all of the stand alone eps are just wonderful. Love season 3.
the worst seasons are 6 and 7.

Season 3 and 4 have some really amazing episodes.

The best string of episodes was in Season 3. So many great episodes in a row there towards the end.

The beginning of both 4/5 are a little rough. 4 then has some masterpieces like Hush/Faith arc. 5 gets really amazing at the end...on the run from Glory etc

Season 6 and 7 are probably the worst. Worst in Buffy is still "good." lol I would say the first half of season 6, with the trio as the villains...has to be the worst string of eps.
 
My favorite season is Season 6.
My favorite part of the whole series is probably the Season 6 finale and my least favorite is the Initiative in Season 4.
I hated that about Season 4. That's also why Season 4 is probably my least favorite season. But apart from that, Season 4 is still awesome.
 
For me its a tie between season 2 and season 3. I love the Bangel scenes in the two seasons, but not just that, the action and fight scenes are so good. In season 2 Angelus was a fantastic villain because not only was he almost equally matched with Buffy in fighting ability he hurt her emotionally as well. In season 3 Faith again was a fantastic villain because she was well matched physically but she also posed an emotional battle for Buffy because she showed Buffy her darker nature.
