Best Short-Lived Characters

I didn't like Kate either. I thought she was too much of a Buffy rip-off. And I think what really annoyed me about her was the fact that she couldn't get past the fact that Angel was a vampire. But I know that's probably a normal reaction to a person finding out about vampires.

Doyle was a really great character. I liked him better than Wesley.

Although personally i've never been a Wesley fan, Doyle brought so much more to the show. He didn't need a line to shine, his presence could be felt simply by him standing in the room. I just don't get that with Wes.

Even though I don't like Wesley that much I don't think Doyle would have suited that whole storyline of going bad and sleeping with Lilah. But I do think Doyle's character was better overall.

Ethan Rayne. Annoyingly dangerous is the best way to describe him, and he did indeed bring the best story lines as Allycat said.

Mr. Trick. I loved him!!!!!!!! He was great and soooo funny. I was very mad when he died. Although his death scene was pretty funny. Just what he said, i don't remeber the exact words though.

I think there's a thread for characters who made one appearance. I'd vote for Cassie in that one.

Here, it's got to be Larry. For me anyway. I didn't really notice him first run, but replaying the eps I finally saw him as a recurring character.

Skip was just too cute! I loved that guy! Too bad about him though...

I voted for Merl, he was quiet funny.

 

[Dizzy]

Had to go with Ethan Rayne. Might have something to do with me rewatching Season 2 at the moment, last night watched The Dark Age. He is a great character to introduce the whole Giles has a past thing......and he is quite funny.
