Also love 24, but I'm only on season 4, and watching them on DVD! It's a fantastic show.

But nothing can beat Greys anatomy, It is just the best!, No other show compares!

Dexter is awesome!

(I also like One Tree Hill but it's a guily pleasure Shhhhhh...I'd deny it!)

Kali agrees: I've been itching to see this since they previewed this during the last ep of the West Wing - haven't seen it come up on UK cable/sat yet - is it on here?

Hmm, I dunno...there is usually a lag in pickups between us here in the trailer park that is North America and you cultured folks on the Continent...I know that here in the Great White North, some shows are actively being NOT shown by the network with the rights to them (can you say Veronica Mars?). Other than that, I couldn't tell you, Kali...but watch it if you get a chance, it is laugh-out-loud funny. And since I posted my last comment, I've watched the first two seasons of Grey's Anatomy...my God it's fabulous...

I should have added Grey's to the poll, but I knew no matter what I put up there, I would miss one that should be added so I just quickly added the first one's that came to mind, and Grey's wasn't there. It should have been, of course, but it wasn't.

My attitude was, what the heck, there's always an Others category. Notice how it's kicking butt. Just goes to show how accurate my assessment is of what people think is quality in entertainment.

The fact that Survivor is still on the air is testament to people having no taste, IMO...no worries, you did a shotgun blast and tried to cover as much area as possible...just when you think you got people all figured out, they throw a curve at ya...

I may have said this already at some point in this thread but I can't stand hospital dramas so Grey's is an automatic no-no for me. Doesn't matter how good the writing or acting is, the nature of shows like Grey's, ER, Holby City or whatever else depresses me. I really don't need to be sitting watching television series about sickness and death.

There are plenty of excellent non-hospital drama series to choose from so I'll stick with them. 😉

I see your point...for a while there, it seemed like every patient on Grey's had cancer...depressing...

Ha ha ha!!! I'm with you KD.

I also agree about the hospital dramas. My guy says that it's because I'm a hypocondriac. <--? As depressing as I like to go with my choice in shows is Law and Order SVU. I'm a nut job about kids and it often gets me worked up...it's my fault...I'm masochistic in so many ways...:whip2:

Hmmm, now that sounds interesting...;) Like the whip...;)
I don't really like hospital shows, either. I hate ER. The only episode I've seen that I liked was when the helicopter falls on the armless guy. I was into House for its entire first season...but it's too formulaic, and the reason it's popular is because the character is an ass.

I do like Grey's Anatomy though, but it is FAR from being TV's best show. A hospital drama will NEVER be TV's best show.

I LOVE LOST 😀 😀 😀 x

Then I LOVE YOU!!! 😀

Hehe, Lost is definately at the top of my list again. Galactica and 24 are very close behind, each one having it's own strengths and weaknesses, but overall I'd say Lost was the show I looked forward to the most.

heh .. i bought season 1 and 2 the other day.. Lost is love <3
I've been catching up on Medium too, and I noticed something...in an industry of starving stick women, Patricia Arquette has seemingly resisted the urge to deny food to herself...she's hardly fat, but it is nice to see a woman who can still look attractive while carrying a couple extra pounds. Not that I want to start that debate...again...I just wish she'd fix her haircut so that it was a bit more...flattering...The show itself is great, except they still have the DA resisting her abilities this long into it...after being right so many times, you'd think the guy would just go with it...😉

Medium's pretty sweet. I agree about P.A.'s look. Too many wafes out there today.

Absolutely agreed. Most of the women that I find attractive are curvy. Amy Lee has an amazing figure but she would probably be considered "overweight" by Hollywood standards. SMG never looked sexier than in the first two (maybe three) seasons of Buffy, then she started slimming down and lost a lot of sex appeal, in my opinion. The day that the media finally figure out that women are actually a lot sexier when they have curves, the world will be a better (and healthier) place.

As for the DA in Medium, he has what is commonly referred to in television circles as Scullyitis. 😉

Also, I've just noticed that I spelt "definitely" as "definately" in my last post. My English teacher would be turning in her grave. Y'know, if she was dead an' all. 😀

LOL! Scullyitis...gotta remember that one!
Gotta agree with KD...Grey's Anatomy is def my fave. I can't get enough of that show. I watch Bones as well...But Its not nearly as good...I just need my weekly DB fix! LOL 😉

NSM agrees: OMG...I love you! LOL... If it weren't for opinions like that I'd never get a date! OH! And AL is soooo sexy! 😉

Okay, I've seen pics of you in the gallery, remember. If you weren't getting dates regularly then you would obviously be living in a neighborhood of extremely stupid people. 😉

Veronica Mars, House and Lost would be my fav tv right now.
