We've seen them sing in OMWF. But who was the best singer, in your opinion?
 
I think Amber - she has such a beautiful tone to her voice! She sings Under You Spell so well but for me she shines in the reprise version! She conveys the pain of her discovery so well!

Amber all the way. She sounded so magical in Under Your Spell, and in the Reprise she was amazing, she had so much emotion in her voice. Anthony is second-best I think.
 
I like Anthony's voice so much. It's so different and I really love the quality and tone of his voice.
Amber has a good voice, but I think if they wrote "Under Your Spell" in a lower key, it would have sounded much better. She is an alto, so for her to sing so high was stretching her voice, and it sounded a bit strained in some parts to me.

Anthony, of course! Runner-up being Amber, but Anthony is better than her. The rest of the cast is just decent, Nick Brendon and MT being the weakest.

ETA: If only there was an option for Sweet... he's the best singer of them all.
 
As far as I know, Anthony is the only member of the cast with an extensive stage-musical background. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong - I know that James and Amber are also really good singers.)

One thing that bugs me about OMWF is that Joss TOTALLY under-used Anthony's stunning singing voice. If you've ever heard him in Repo, or in the Chess 1989 bootleg, his voice is amazing - rich and powerful, and he must have three octaves in his range.

So, IMO Anthony is by far the best singer in this show, but underused.

I agree that Under Your Spell would have been so much better in a lower key.

I'm kind of disappointed that Emma isn't on the list, because I think she did a fantastic job.

For me, it was a tie between Sarah and James. I chose Sarah because I was literally shocked the first time I heard her sing. I could have easily chose Anthony, but he had an advantage with all the musical training. Having no experience with broadway or anything, I think Sarah did the best job.

James is also a professional singer, he performs. He used to have a band, and he has 3 albums (one of them of the band's).
 
I voted for Anthony... But damn, I can't believe nobody mentioned the actor doing Sweet! 😱 He was really good, and imo better than ASH. Michelle shouldn't even be on there. 😉

The actor who played Sweet was amazing! He should have been, though; he was a Broadway vet.

I know he's a professional singer, and very good. I don't believe he has Anthony's stage musical experience.

Hinton Battle is a three-time Tony award winner and his voice is gorgeous. What a stroke of genius it was for them to cast him in this.

I still like Anthony's voice better than Hinton's, but not based on his under-utilized OMWF performance.
 
Actually, I was disappointed when I heard JM sing, because I knew he was in a band, and I liked Spike's voice, speaking-wise.
