Best Singer in the Buffyverse

I have been in love with Anthony Stewart Head's voice since I found out that was him crooning so sweetly in the background music in "Passion", when Giles and Buffy were at Jenny's grave. I think he's got the most talent, but Amber Benson and Christian Kane are tied for second in my book.
But where is Julie Benz?? She sang beautifully in "Angel"! 🙂

There's such a tie between Tara and Spike. While Spike's songs made me laugh, I think the problem with those, as Airam said, is that James Marsters had to sing in a British accent. Tara's were just really beautiful and Amber Benson did everything so well, so it's always a 50/50 between the two of them for me.

Yeah, both of them singing together with such different situations was so sad and beautiful. 🙂 I loved how Joss and Co. did that song! Even the camera angles were amazing. 🙂

I'm saying Giles, but I also liked Tara's voice, but it was a bit to, standard for me. ASH has a nice dark pub, smokey air kind of voice and that, I like. I also liked Spike (Who would have guessed that ^^) but again, his voice is quite random. So Giles it is.

Don't throw things at me, but I'm honestly not that impressed by James' voice. I mean, it's alright, and as a Buffy fan I will always support anyone in the Whedonverse in their other endeavors, but as far as really being something that would stand out to me if I had never seen BTVS or Angel, I'd never think "OOOH, he's good!"

Haha, don't worry, no objects will be thrown. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and it'd be incredibly immature of us to throw hissy fits at you just for what you think about James's voices. I think it's mostly because he had to sing in a British accent, otherwise he would've sounded better. But each to her own, so I think that James's and Amber's voices are the best of the Whedonverse.

I have to go for Giles here for so many reasons. Obviously he's my favourite character so I have a soft spot anyway... But he's talented, and I love his style of singing. Tara was fantastic in OMWF but I would have liked to hear more of her, it would have been great if she's done some singing in Restless, but I think that was probably before the team knew she was such a fantastic singer. I have to mention Anya as well, she was surprisingly good. Buffy wasn't as bad as I thought she would be either. I liked the fact that when she sung she was still Buffy, not a fantastic singer, or acting like SMG, just Buffy.

I picked other. And that is Lindsey. He was the best singer. I just love to watch him sing in "Dead End" when he gets his new hand and goes to Caritas. Ooohh... goosebumps!

I think Amber Benson has a very pretty voice, but I thought "Under My Spell" was a little too high for her. She did really well, though, considering she was definitely stretching her range!

Hands down Giles, that bit he did for the Coffe bar, 'Behind Blue Eyes' did The Who proud. I can't see that topped by anything I've heard on Buffy, or have yet to hear.

There's a vote for Angel...wtf? Angel's known for his bad singing. He's terrible.

The best singer is Giles. I love his voice and James Marsters comes a close second.

I always thought Spike had the better singing voice in Buffy but maybe its because I love rock music and he has a very grungy rough rock voice. But overall its got to be Lorne because I mean Andy can so sing a high note without much effort.
