Best TV Love Triangle Poll

I don't just mean the character itself. The look is very similar, the eyebrows, the hair, the stare, the brooding, the acting itself. It just felt too much Angely. The things that aren't written, but seemed to the eye and the way it's coming across.

Oh okay I see what you mean now. Yeah I guess there is a similarity. I although find Stefan a bit more attractive in a way but then it changes.
You know at first I thought people would compare him to Edward. I see what you mean about the brooding. Sometimes he is a little more light and now he seems to be getting an edge so I guess that is why I don't see to much Angel in him.

If I am being honest I keep seeing Spike in Damon. Not in a bad way. They are so different yet the same. I think it is because I usually like the characters like that a little wit and not evil but not yet an angel no pun intended 😛

I voted for Stefan/Elena/Damon because I've gotten a recent Vamp Diaries obsession. One of the best new TV shows out there.

I didn't vote for Gunn/Fred/Wes because I believed that Gunn truly loved Fred whereas Wesley had a creepy obsession with her

Also didn't vote for Angel/Buffy/Spike because Buffy clearly loved Angel more than anything in this world and Angel felt the same about her. Buffy did love Spike to a degree, but he'll never mean as much to her as Angel did. That's just my honest opinion, not really a triangle

Im not that worried about VD winning. Their triangle is much more in your face than Buffy/Angel/Spike ever was.

So given those choices I wouldn't vote for either B/A/S or G/F/W. I don't know that I'd refer to either of those situations as love triangles and B/A/S even less cause Spuffy and Bangel never happened in the same time frame nor was there any romantic tension between the 3 when all 3 actors were on the show simultaneously, except for in Chosen and they still weren't on screen together, its just not enough to classify as a love triangle IMO, just two separate relationships Buffy had.

And as much as I have a hard-on for Vampire Diaries right now (its my current TV crack!) its too new in comparison to the other choices on there, I'd feel like i was cheating on classics to vote for them, lol.

For me its almost an impossible... nah, I think it IS in fact an impossible choice between the Dawson's Creek, Felicity & Lost triangles... all three were AWESOMELY formulated series long love triangles. At least 2 of the three ended how I hoped (Damn you Damon Lindeloff & Carlton Cuse for shattering my Kate/Sawyer dreams!) 90210's Brenda/Dylan/Kelly is a close 4th, but ultimately i hate the Kelly character far too much. So i just won't vote :biggrin:

That is one thing I noticed that Spike, Angel and Buffy didn't have that tension. She had those relationships so far apart. Wes, Gunn and fred were around each other so if I was going to vote for either of those it would be that one.

I voted Dawson creek but I see where felicity could be a triangle. I will be honest I always loved Noel so it still upsets me when I think about it.

I voted Wesley, Gunn and Fred. It's one of my favourite love triangles pretty much ever! So many dark twists and turns, and elaborate storylines. I liked that it wasn't always about how they felt about each other, but how the life they have chosen to lead can get in the way of things.

Besides, the Illyria storyline was epic. Gunn helping destroy Fred, and Wesley stabbing Gunn and so much drama-y goodness! Just wonderful.

I'm not a huge fan of the Buffy/Spike/Angel storyline because I felt like the writers were to scared to really tell the story. To scared to choose a side in case it would cause a backlash. To me the story isn't so much of a love triangle as it is two separate relationships that we happened to watch develop over the course of a series.
