best vampire movies

Good list. Hits all the highlights, and, of course, IMNSHO, includes a few duds. The joys of "Best of" lists.

My personal facorites include (in no particular order):
Near Dark.
Sinners.
Nosferatu (2024).
Shadow of the Vampire.
The Hunger.
The Fearless Vampire Killers.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

That list was a load of rot,
as far as I'm concerned.
How many films about vampires have there been, it must be getting on for 200 now so there would be plenty of choice though it would be good to let more members of this site to have their say and not start the list with a list of 40 essential vampire movies.
What are the notions you are looking for in a vampire film? What of the film Dracula Untold? I prefer to leave the religious battles out of a film yet I think the film Queen of the Damned has what it takes to be a leader in the Vampiric field

Makes one understand what Buffy Summers refers to when she tells people to use capital letters where they ought to be used. The first in brackets was The lost boys which is well known as the film The Lost Boys. However what comes next is Lyric Noel out of Texas,
what is or are him or they?
Is Lyric Noel the name of a singer or a group?
Are they or he from Texas, an explanation would be appreciated why the words, 'out of' are there, is the song performed by him or the group on You Tube?

Pretty poor list in some ways. How the hell does Blade only have a 59 percent? Also no Mr Vampire films? Don't get me wrong they do have some seminal films here obviously, but yeah lots of ommissions or classic films ranked too lowly.

So I've entered the hazing phase apparently. That's cool. My grammar will not improve ,So let me know if I should exit stage right. If that's the case, I understand and that's fine.
