My 6 year old was just this morning bemoaning the fact that there are simply not enough werewolves on Buffy. 😀 (seriously, I'm not making this up). So I promised him that we would watch an Oz-centered ep tonight. I'm thinking of Phases or New Moon Rising. A little too much naked Oz & Veruca in Wild at Heart for the little boy, wouldn't you agree? I like parts of Beauty and the Beasts, but I think Pete's transformation can be a bit scary. Thoughts?

BTW, he loves Spike. It breaks his Angel-lovin' mama's heart. :tongue3:

6 year old who loves Buffy.
You've raised him well. 🙂

I can't rememeber the episodes in detail, so either one is good.

I personally don't see a huge problem with Wild at Heart but I understand why Beauty and the Beasts would be dodgy. I would go for New Moon Rising.

Yeah, well I try [to brainwash him]. He's watched OMWF 3 times in the last month.

My kids favourite episode is The Gift, they beg to "Watch Buffy die".....

I don't know the ages; but "Fear, itself" is one of my favorites; since Oz only goes halfway to transforming.

Yeah mine like Chosen too, in fairness to them they know Buffy "comes back alive" again.

Oh, yes, he watched Bargaining with me a few weeks ago. 🙂

Hell- Fear, Itself scares me half to death, so I don't think I'll let him watch it right now! Although I have to say that he was bored with Halloween which I tried showing them last month.

So the Bangel gene is recessive? Good news for us Spuffies!

I was gonna recommend 'Smile Time', but I just realized you don't actually see Nina in werewolf form.

I vote for New Moon Rising. It's a great ep! Oh and there's some Tillow in it. 🙂

Well folks, we watched Phases, Beauty & the Beasts, and New Moon Rising tonight. LOL, he kept insisting on watching one in the next season. I stayed away from Wild at Heart because of the nekkidness LOL, plus NMR has Spike in it too. He enjoyed all of them!

And I cracked up when he tried to engage his big brother in a conversation of "If we were Buffy characters, who would we be?". He insisted that hair color was the big deal, so he decided that little brother would be Spike since he's blonde, big brother the brunette would be Xander or Angel, and that he (with his reddish tint) would be Oz. Of course then he came to the realization that hair can be colored LOL. Oh Lord, I think I've created a monster.... 😀

This thread has got me thinking about episodes I wouldn't let my kids watch.

Off the top of my head I can only think of "Seeing Red" (the "attempted rape") and Villains (with the skinning and the horror). I am not sure how my son would react to the way kinky scenes in "Gone" so I would have to think more on that one. The balcony scene in Dead Things would go straight over his head so no worries there.

I am only counting one of the kids here as the 5 year old only pays attention when people are falling over comically or fighting.
