During a recent Katrina speech by George Bush, CNN news anchor Kyra Phillips snuck off to the loo, attended to her business, and had a little bathroom girl-talk where she dissed her sister-in-law. The problem was they left her mic on, and it was live. You can see the video here.

It took me back to that one on SNL where Ashley Simpson's recorded music started playing ahead of time, and revealed her as a lip syncer.

Ever had anything like that happen to you, like had a technology snafu trap you in an embarrassing sitution. I don't know, like forwarded the wrong email, or anything like that.

I phoned this girl one time, and somehow her message recorder had recorded her last phone conversation. It played it back to me.

I don't recall anything, I do have a habit of addressing people by the wrong name. Girlfriends don't like it when you call them by another girls name.

I remember one time I forgot my best friends(of ten years) name... It took my half an hour into a conversation with him before I blurted out his name really loudly.

Ohh, i've seen this one....didn't Leslie Nielsen do it in one of his spoof(like he's done any other) movies and Homer Simpson too.

I'm curious as to who called her on her cell to tell her mic was hot? Was it her husband or CNN? It sure wasn't the control freak sister in-law I bet, lol.

I remember one time my best friend was trying to send some adult pics to her girlfriend and wasn't paying attention to what the auto-complete feature was filling in. She ended up sending it to a 300+ member Yahoo group she was in.

I think my personal favorite was one time when I was intoxicated when I was 17 and called up to let my parents know I'd be home later than planned. The entire conversation got recorded on the answering machine and I found it when I finally got home.
