Another vote for Jayne, although I also enjoyed him in Angel.

Adam Baldwin also appeared as a villain in the last season of X-Files. He seems to have made a niche for himself in roles of this kind, and he does them pretty well.
 
Jayne is probably my favorite character from the series or movie. It was a pure "Joss" move to make him named Jayne, make him overly macho and tough, with a soft underbelly that comes out from time to time. Plus, he named his gun.
 
Definitely Jayne. I like my men scruffy. 😉 But, Jayne was bad in a not so much evil, just cool bad type way and Hamilton was suit-wearing-evil-lawyer bad. I loved Jayne...Hamilton just didn't do it for me.
 
I'm such an idiot.. I never even noticed that Adam played Hamilton on Angel! But I loved Jayne, he was awesome. Plus me and him have the same last name =].
 
Jayne, no doubt about it. Though he was kind of a comic relief figure for most part on FF I think AB played him so spot on, that it was very enjoyable to watch. "Sex, Muscles, Money, Thug = Jayne" is like AB describes his character with a lot of sympathies. He had a lot of potential to become an interesting characer. Would he have betrayed Mal in the end?

What I like about Jayne is that he always says what is on his mind and he is self-confident enough to give a damn about other peoples opinions. If he wants to wear a self knit hat from his mum, he does so 🙂 He is kind of Cordelia-like in this attributes.
 
Hamilton was smarter, but Jayne was sooooo much cooler... Both were really really sexy. 🙂 (too bad there's not a drool smilie)
 
Hamilton was good but Jayne's funny too.
Theyre actually the complete opposite characters actually. But Jaynes just fantastic. I laughed more at him that anyone else in Firefly I think 🙂
 
I didn't even know who the hell you guys were talking about when you said Hamilton, I still kind of don't, but I voted for Jayne as I love Jayne. He's my favourite character on FF, he's a lummox with a big heart basically.

galathea said exactly the thing I was thinking of...a snippet from the special features that I love watching over and over. AB just plays Jayne so well, although Joss had to push him a little or pull him back a little in different scenes, he got it and nailed it!

I voted for Jayne, but I really only prefer him by a hair. I've loved Adam Baldwin in everything I've seen him in, even the roles where he's barely got a speaking part (like in Independence Day).
