And I can't be the only one that sees the Fuffy subtext in Amends. I think this episode would have worked best as the end to Bangel, and beginning of Fuffy.
See, that's why I like the episode. The Bangel bits are just standard melodrama to me- same old, same old- (I don't even see them in a romantic way anymore, just the coda for Angel's show), but those lil' Fuffy bits are oh, so sweet. 🙂
I agree.. I never even considered it a Bangel episode. There was no Bangel romance or angst in the episode. It wasnt even the angel part of Bangel. To be honest, I don't think IOHEFY counts as a Bangel ep - there's no Bangel there, it doesn't exist in that ep, so I, personally, don't think it can be regarded as a Bangel ep, so there's no comparison for me..
loved both, in IOHEFY with the gender role switch and how desecrated Angel tries to wash off the dirty human feelings, but Amends is more detailed and insightful with the flashbacks and the First and I loved the cheesy walk in the snowfall.
