I had never seen Firelfybefore I saw Serenity and I thought they were some of the most amazing fight scenes I have ever seen!
 
Voted for Spike due to my total Spike bias, lol!

As for River, i still think that the Firefly universe could be connected to the slayerverse and it could be discovered that River was some futuristic offshoot of the slayer line ... actually, don't get me started on my theories for connecting the two stories! 😉
 
ooh, connections. never thought of that. this is gonna require some thought. then i'll be back with ll my theories that will turn out to be exactly the same as the watchers. like always 😛

I thought the exact samething after seeing Serenity!! I said it to the people I went with and she was just like "Don't start!" lol
 
River would win. River's move seemed faster and more fulid then anyone on Buffy or Angel ever did. Also The hits seemed to be with more force. But I have a small martial arts background and pick out stupid little stuff.

I'm not, I think I'll pick River... she seemed to be able to do things that Buffy could never do (with no super powers that were obvious in canon) although the first thing I thought when I saw the movie was she had to be a slayer in the future.
 
I voted for Buffy... cause I thought it was sad noneone else had ^_^
 
I think definately River I mean check out those moves, look how stealthful and fast she is. She would definately overtop them all as best fighter. I can actually see River as a futuristic vampire slayer actually lol.
 
I voted Buffy. Haven't seen Firefly or Serenity. I will soon though, expecting the DVD's from netflix 🙂
 
I still went with Buffy...even though I think River kicks total butt. She is too unpredictable and not constant.
 
EXCUSE ME, but i dont see an option for faith!..... tsk tsk well here's my vote - Buffy hands down...... Buffy was an awesome fighter.... u get the point
 
Just because Rivers fight style was aesthetically pleasing, in no way means she is a better fighter. I can find nothing to justify River having the most votes.

The other three would all destroy her feeble human strength.
 
But strength is not the most important thing in a fight, River moved faster then the others, her attacks were more focused because she was more focused, her dexterity was mush better then Buffy's. Buffy could knock a man across a room because of her strength, River could do the same without superhuman strength because of the momentum she could build up, and how perfectly accurate her attacks were, she could have danced circles around the others before they even got to lay a hand on her

= Looked Pretty.

River can dance circles round people, because she is psychic. She can read their mind, and see what they are going to do. She can't read Spike or Angels mind.
