Bianca Lawson

I just read at tvtome that Bianca Lawson (who played Kendra) was origonally casted as Cordelia, but her schedule was to tight so they had to recast. So, I was thinking I could make a thread where we discuss Bianca and her character, Kendra.

What do you think of her?

That's interesting...I'm not sure I would like it if she had played Cordy...But then again if it had been the other way around I might have thought the same thing.
I liked Kendra. But she was a little annoying at times. Still very kool though!

Yes she did origanlly audtion for the role of Cordelia, but Sarah was the first choice for the part. I didnt find Kendra annoying since she was in just 3 episodes, but she was a great charecter. And Charisma orignally went for Buffy, as did Julie Benz, Christin Kane went for Angel, the guy who played Snyder went for the role of Principal Flootie. The guy who plays Jonothan went for the role of Xander.

But shouldnt this be in the Season2 forum? Since Kendra is just from Season2.

I've only seen her in "Fearless", "Bones", "Save the Last Dance", and The Temptations. At TV tome it said she was in some other called Sister Sister, which sounds familiar to me. It's good to see that she still has work. I think she is a great actress.

I can't remember whether Ihave seen her in anything besides BtVS or not..But still I think she's a good actress,Kendra's accent was annoyong(but I know she had v.little time to pick up it).

Well, in Sister Sister she played a character much like Cordelia. She was the popular high school student who was mean to everyone. She also played a similar type of character in Saved By The Bell The New Class. But both of these shows only involved minimul acting skills. There both teenage type shows that aren't really in the same league as Buffy. however, going off her performance in Save The Last Dance, she probably would have made a good Cordelia.
