What's the absolute worst vampire movie you've ever seen? For me, it has to be, hands down, "The Breed." I heard about this thing awhile before it first came out, and because it starred Adrian Paul as a vampire detective (do they come in stalks like bananas, or is that just that popular a concept?) I thought that it would be really cool, since I loved "Highlander."

That had to be a combination of the worst acting, casting, photography, dialog, and directing I have ever seen clumped into a single picture. This thing should be shown in school as an example of how NOT to make a movie. There's absolutely something in here to hate for everyone!

Worst Vampire flick... hm.. let me think..That'll be "Brooklyn Vampire" - rather strange... and I think of some more

I'd have to agree with UlaGan on this one. "Brooklyn Vampire" was awful!

Oh. you want a bad vampire flick do ya? Try 1986's Vamp, which starred Grace Jones. This was one of those vamp flicks right after the seminal Fright Night, and later The Lost Boys, that tried to cash in on that new wave of popularity for the genre.

It failed miserably.

Called a "horror/comedy", it sucked on BOTH levels. I heartily recommend it to anyone who has trouble sleeping. This will take care of that affliction nicely.

I'm sorry, but I'd have to say that the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie was just awful. It doesn't do the TV show justice. Had I seen the movie before I watched the show, I probably wouldn't be on here right now.

...and then there's this 3-disk set called "Embrace The Darkness"....I found it on a $5.00 table at Blockbuster. I don't mind a LITTLE sex and nudity in a movie, just as long as there's SOME KIND of plot...

The movie is completely seperate from the show - you can't group the two together. Yeah, it's a bad movie, but bad in a good way. Not bad in an unwatchable way... Like Blood for Dracula. It's horrible, but a classic lol

And oh I guess I should also put "Embrace of the Vampire" on that list, with Alyssa Milano. Yes, Alyssa Milano.

^ Ahh, "Embrace Of The Vampire", how could I have forgotten about that one? Yikes!

I knew it would be bad beforehand...I only watched it because...well....Alyssa Milano was in her birthday suit....a lot.

Sue me for being a male pig. 😛

I was just about to do that. I caught part of it on TV a few months ago (which cut out the soft-core porn bits, apparently leaving nothing interesting in the movie). There really was no point beyond the sex scenes. That one scene where Alyssa's in the rave, high on Ecstasy, and the vampire's biting everyone had me :lmao:. It wasn't freaky at all. It looked like he had a bad overbite.

From Dusk 'Till Dawn was another that I didn't really like.

Yeah, but that scene where the doors all lock as if by magic and the stripper yells, "LUNCH TIME!!" will always have a spot in my heart.

yeah but Cheech is classic in that movie...and Selma is a pretty hot Vampire...the idea of cattleing prey into a strip club is pretty good LOL
Wow, from dusk til dawn is tied with the lost boys as my fav! I think its just so much fun! And man, that ending kicked booty.

I really didn't like 30 Days of Night. I was so amped for it and it was eh, ok.

I think I've got y'all beat.

A few years ago, I had the misfortune of renting a steaming pile of shyte entitled Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter.

No, I'm not joking, the movie actually exists ---> Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001)

in the wors of Peter Griffin "Umm What??" ..."what the hell is this...somebody throw a pie!" LOL the name alone makes it sound horrible!
ok so this movie really really is awful but I somewhat ejoy it...

Once Bitten with Jim Carrey...soooooooooooo corny but cute all the same.

I've seen a lot of Vampire movies, own a small shelf of them on DVD haha and yes there are some truly terrible ones.

Vampires: Los Muertos, Fright Night, Ultraviolet and even the Buffy movie itself. Dracula 2000 is just awful, Mother Riley Meets the Vampire or something like that is saved only by Bela reprising his Dracula role.

Nosferatu is hard to watch, as most silent movies would be to people these days, but it has its charm. The Vampire Chronicles films (Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned) aren't all that good to be honest.
