[Big Damn Hero]

After playing around making icons for the icon contest, I thought I'd play around some more. This is basically me just chucking stuff here while I practise and if anyone has any feedback it'd be great, but please be nice *puppy dog eyes*.

I decided the best way to practice was to set myself a task, so the idea is that I focus on making a set of whatever for one particular episode at a time, and experiment and stuff.

So here's some icons from Angel S1E1. :|

Experimenting with light/textures/text (mannn, getting text colour/placement right is WELL hard!) and stuffs.

Question: What format do you guys find it best to save stuff in? I've tried .png & .jpeg (which I've heard a few people use) but sometimes my colours and stuff end up distorted 🙁

Yet another post in a row - sorry! I thought I'd had enough for today, and then I saw Lyri's amazing wallpaper she did for her's and HisMrs' art challenge, and I was like, I wanna do that too!

So, obviously, it's nowhere near as good as Lyri's, but here's my first ever wallpaper.

So, I've offically got the bug.

Practising more banner making. Really need to download some new fonts!

This one's my favourite so far. Just wish I could remember how I did the good stuff in it!

Yeah you should at least download some new fonts hon. Dafont.com is the pretty popular site everyone uses. 🙂 You're doing very good with the screencaps though. heheh@ the bromantic one! (sw)
