Any Big Love fans out there? After some folks mentioned liking it & awaiting the new (& final season) on other threads, I thought I'd make our own.
So, some initial questions. How badly do we need to avoid spoilers here, is anyone else just starting to watch s1? I have watched every single episode, & like to discuss the entire series, so just tell me if I should be using spoiler tags for stuff.
I want to ask y'all a bunch of questions about favorite characters, 'ships, and story arcs, but I guess I need to have input on the spoiler issue.
For now I'll just ask what you thought about last night's episode. For me, it started out quite depressing, I felt bad for all the characters involved & kept wondering "how are they going to get through this mess?" I probably had the most sympathy for Margene. I love Bill's character, but sometimes he just pisses me the hell off!! His monologue in that last scene was so good, though, it had me tearing up. There are those occasional times when he can lay aside his pride & see what everyone around him is going through, and that was one. Loved that very last scene- I'm very curious how those new relationships will develop.
I haven't yet got to finish rewatching last season, so I'm confused about whose new baby that is. Does anybody know? I can't remember anybody pregnant at the end of the season except Ana, and where is she? Also this episode took place only weeks after the final episode of last season, so it has to be Ana's baby.
The Cub Scout thing was kind of disturbing to me. I'm a Cub Scout leader, and I would be appalled if any of my boys beat up another boy! And Nikki terrorizing that other boy, wow, although that's quintissential Nikki- her father's child LOL.
I wonder if Bill will end up having to forge partnerships at the state house with people he never thought he would have to: like congresspeople who support gay rights or other liberal reps.
