Okay, i know its already clarified that emma wont be back for season 8, but another proof is, i met her! (yey) and she confirmed at the SFX event that she would NOT be coming back.... (which you already know.)
Which is really sad cause i love Anya!
 
that is so unfair very one gets to meet famous people my mate met them in manchester a while ago and being the stinegy person that he is wouldn't get me an autograph 🙁 i live on an island of the coast of france we never have any one famous come ova here well except borging old royalty lol
 
I got the impression from Emma's interviews that she was ready to move beyond the Buffy-verse. She made a quote something to the likes of which "It's time for something new, who'd want the same job for 5 years in a row?"
 
I will miss her quick literal wit but can handle it as long as she doesn't die. Enough death already! Cried when Joyce died, cried when Tara died, don't want to need another hankie this season!
 
About the dreams of Restless. We can't build on them forever can we? Anya is going away and won't go to Angel. Cordy will stay with Angel (wich is something we cannot say about Fred). 7.05 (next on) will be Anya-centric so we will probably get some hints there (gonna be a neat episode btw, new OMWF-songs, olaf returns, we learn the reason of Anya's bunny fear)! And about ASH with a little luck next year "Ripper" will finaly air.
 
I don't hate anya but i wouldnt go pshyco if she died or left the show or moved to angel or whatever...i mean shes a cool character but i've never gotten too attached to her....prob cause shes not very emotional i dunno...
 
I really dont think they will kill Anya. So far in the series Anya has made it clear that she wants to figure out who she is. Leaving, and being on her own, will help her do that. If she was going to die, it would not really fit with her story line. She's got to be on her own. She said it herself, she's always attached herself to someone or something. She needs to learn to rely on her human self.
 
Very good point, but it's a repeatment of what happened with Oz.
 
that is true, but Oz left to learn how to control his werewolf side, whereas Anya will be learning to be a human. I think it would be a better story line then killing her off.
 
Yes it would be better than killing, that has been done even more, but still learning how to go from human to demon (Oz) and from demon to human (Anya) sounds pretty much alike to me!
 
well its kinda different...but then the same...also....oz left so he could control his wolf side....and he was still the wolf when he came back to willow...he couldnt get rid of it only control it....now anya is not a demon anymore....so she needs to learn how to be a human......so actually is different.
 
well slight differences, but Oz became something and needed to handle with it, now Anya becomes something and needs to hangle with it!
 
oh but its still so much different....oz would have to live with it forever....anya is now human...and thats all. but if u wanted to do this whole thing...then spike has a soul...and now has to handle it....dawn was the key and had to handle it....it could go on and on with anyone then.
 
Well it has actually always been about this in life, to be a stronger man (or woman) you have to understand yourself, you have to learn how to live or overcome your innerdemons, as do our heroes do, with their outerdemons!
