Biggest Buffy Scare?

I was just wondering what was everyone's scariest moment on Buffy?

The Gentlemen gliding past the window while Olivia was looking out in "Hush" was scary, and that creepy crawling, the Queller I think, from the moon in "Listening to Fear" when it was running around the house was scary too. Gnarll freaked me out quite a bit as well, even though he talked in a funny posh accent 😛
 
personally i think olivia herself is quite scary but my scariest demon was the hellhounds because they were quite scary weren't they?
 
If you're talking about us, the viewers, then I would have to say MY most scariest part of Buffy was "Hush". That episode had some of the most scariest humanoid monsters ever.

As for the characters on Buffy, I would have to say that THEIR most scariest moment was in "The Gift" when Buffy died.
I mean, it's like 5 years with Buffy Summers and she risks her life to save the world. I would be pretty emotional and scared of losing her as a friend. Imagine how much the Scooby's must have felt. That was probably the most scariest moment for them.
 
I think the biggest scare was when Angel had turned bad and they saw it for themselves up close. It's very scary to deal with someone who you personally knew as a great guy who was way in love with Buffy, and then BAM! he's a jerk. a killing jerk, nevertheless

Wait, whats that flesh skin eating demon feaured in the beginning of Season 7.. he's also in the opening credits. Now that was scary.
 
Well I thought...

that Adam was the scariest demon.
Angelus killing Jenny Calendar was the sacriest moment.
 
The Gentlemen really give me the wig and Sid the Dummy.
Oh, and the spider demon thing from 'Selfless' I'm really not a big fan of spiders. lol
 
it's all fun and games until someone gets stabbed to death...

Without a doubt, the scenes in 7x16 Storyteller where we get to see inside Andrew's mind. Specifically, the scene where we see his mental image of he and Warren and Jonathan as gods. Really.
After that, some of his other glimpses into his mind were painful and slightly frightening. Like his reworked scene where he was facing off with Willow.

The "we'll be gods scene" was scary for a few different reasons, but the other peeks into Andrew's mind were unsettling mostly because they were so broken. (That is: his version of reality is so broken.) Previously, we've heard Andrew speak in a manner that indicates he wasn't very connected to reality. But to actually see how his mind worked, and then to think, "until recently, this person was allowed to roam freely in the world"... that's unsettling.

I understand the scenes are mostly intended to be funny. And, in a way, they were... but when you think about what Andrew's really done--who he is, who he was, etc. Then it's really not funny anymore. It's just pathetically, tragically sad.

Okay, so, not counting that, scariest thing? I dunno. The monster that was eating off Willow's flesh was pretty darn unnerving. The Gentlemen were unsettling of course... hard to say for sure.
 
i still can't watch that scene in 'hush' with that gentleman outside giles' window with my eyes completely open 😱

i thought gnarl was funny.
 
The Gentlemen were the best/scariest.

Scariest moment was when Angelus killed Jenny. He didn't even bother to feed of her or turn her.

Hmmn...

THAT would have been interesting, if Angelus had vamped Jenny.
 
I know this is sorta stupid, its not really scary, it was just a big shock.
In, god, i cant remember the name of the episode, its in season 3, when Oz and Cordy find out about Willow and Xander. Lovers Walk i think? anyway, when Cordelia falls through the stairs and drops on the spike, and imaples herself, then it cuts to a funeral, i burst into tears, i thought Cordy was dead, but then felt like a complete idiot when Buffy and Willow walk past near the funeral and talk about how Codry's doing fine in hospital!
 
I know you probably didnt mean to BuffyBotxoxo, and its just very little, but try not to post things about Season 7 outside of the season 7 forum, just for the consideration of others.
 
The scariest parts in Buffy for me, were like most people have said the Hush scene where Olivia is looking out the window, and also the scene in Nightmares where Xander is being chased by a clown with a knife! I am also terrified of clowns and when I watch that episode, I always have to fast forward that part!

Oh! And also in Killed by Death, when the demon thingy walks past the doorway! That always freaks me out!
