So does anyone ride? Own a bike? Want a bike?

I've always wanted one. But i'm also terrified of them. My aunt was in an accident and she lost an arm and her face is needed re-constructive surgery. You can see why it frightens me. But someday, I'd like to own one.
 
I've always wanted a bike, I've grown up around 'em as my dad is a biker and has worked within the field for most of his life, if I can ever afford it it will be something I'll go after 😀

Though my dad and I have a somewhat differing of oppinions in the matter... he's very into HD and has had a model picked out for me since years back 😀
 
I want one so bad. I've been saving up for a bike for the last year or so but I'm still a long way away from having enough.

Actually, while I'm here, does anyone have suggestions for a good bike to start off on?

my sis never rode before and her first bike was a Harley fatbody.. I wouldnt go for a crotch rocket, that's for sure!

I likes me the Triumph Scrambler myself..
 
I went straight from a tricycle to a horse, because where we lived at the time, there wasn't anyplace to really ride a bicycle. Mountain bikes and multiple gearing wasn't available back then. So I never actually learned how to ride one.

Horses are more fun anyhow. And there are other advantages. For the roses.

My assumption is you mean a "fatboy"? I don't think Harley makes a fatbody. Lol...I don't like fatboys. I think they look like VROD rejects.

Kean - I would recommend something like a Honda CX500. They're very simple, not too heavy, not too powerful and you can pretty much get them anywhere. At least around here...

I have a Buell Firebolt xb12r. It's so pretty...I have pics too:

How long have you been riding?
 
Er, well, I've had the ability to ride since I was like 13. I've been able to legally ride for two years now. It's so wonderful.
 
Wow, that bike is awesome! Good for you girl (legal ridin' and all 😉)
