Billy Bob Thornton, the actor, is an ASS

So what exactly would be the dose or ridilin required for an adult jackass anyway???
 
You already know what I think, Al. In my eyes, he's always been an ass.
 
My reactions as I'm watching:

What do you mean, you don't know what he means? I don't think he can frame the question ANY SIMPLER.

And the host has given up on Billy Bob and is talking to the rest of the band. Don't blame him.

Mr. Bear's guessing he's on some sort of psychotropic drugs because he's acting very schizotypal.

He's not supposed to ask about your music on a show about your music?!

Poor guy, trying to phrase his questions so carefully so he doesn't piss off the crazy person.

Geez, what an ass.
 
was he like, on drugs during this interview? it didnt just seem like he was being a purposeful asshole, it seemed like he was losing it...
 
I can't believe this guy still got press or that anyone could be interest enough in him so that a TV or radio host would actually perform an interview on him. Un-be-liv-able!!!
 
Ha, when he and Angelina Jolie broke up, he started dating a college student at the community college I attended for a year after high school before transfering to U of Iowa. So all of a sudden, people were saying, "dude, Billy Bob Thornston is on campus to see his girlfriend." And I saw a crowd of people around him one day. I could not have been less interested, so I just passed by and didn't bother to stare at some B-list celebrity just because he happened to be within a few feet of me.

So strange. Four reasons. He had a fight with the band before the interview, and he's trying to embarase them.
Two : He's drugged up. Three : He's going slightly senile. Four. He's a tool. (I think it's this one, he feels he's far more important than he really is. ) I'm going with tool.
 
HAHAHAHAHA! He is SO funny! I never really paid any attention to him before but now I think he's hilarious.

I completely agree. Although I do think it's a combination of the 4 reasons listed.
 
And people are suprised by this how? I mean come on! It's Billy Bob Thornton, of course he's an ass...
 
I saw this on E! earlier on this afternoon, I have to say I wasn't impressed with his attitude. The DJ was only stating some of his best work, not telling all the listeners he's just doing this music for fun. Billy Bob needs to lighten up a little or just be slapped back down to earth.
 
I'm in no way defending Billy Bob, I think that his behavior was as close to inexcusable as anyone could possibly get, but he definitely looked like he was either drunk or high, or both. I've seen him in other interviews, primarily a couple plugging "The Alamo" before it came out, and he was friendly, joked about almost setting his hair on fire when he shot Ol' Betsy the first time, and even talked about some of the great scenes that they had had to leave out because they would have made the movie too long.

Whatever his problem was during the interview in question, though, he definitely needs to keep it under control, especially when addressing his fans or being interviewed. The bottom line is, we're the ones who pay his bills, by coming to his movies and buying his albums, so, within reason, it's in the best interest of Thornton or any other entertainer to at least PRETEND to be friendly in public.
 
Did anyone else think that the host looked like Chuck? Kudos to him for keeping that going! Part of me thinks he's on something the other things he was just trying to be difficult, probably both.
