I was looking for another thread on this but could not find one. I just watched the episode, Billy, a few days ago and it really scared me! I get frightened often and Angel has a lot of supernatural monstery/demon stuff on it all the time, but when Wes was chasing Fred throughout the hotel...sheesh that was really scary. Like scary movie scary!

First of all I am not used to seeing Wes act like that and he was hauling around that big ax...yikes! There was also this background music that was being played while he searched for Fred...it was very eerie.

Was anybody else as spooked as I was?
 
Yes, I just watched that episode a few nights ago too! Good old Space Network reruns🙂. I agree that Wesley was extremely creepy... it was really weird... normally he's just being dorky and British and then he was waving his axe around... whoa!
 
I remeber that one, it was so strange seeing wesely hunting for someone, never seen him gone evil before. I got spoked a bit, but there has been episodes that were worse.

Did anyone actually think, that around the end when Angel went all weird, he was Angelus, or did you realise he wasent??
 
It certainly was a big change from the Wesley that started in Buffy... lol. It certainly was a creepy episode. I kinda knew at the end that Angel wasn't Angelus, but you can never be sure what Joss is gonna do tho.

Actually, the first sign of Wesley's ruthlessness was in BtVS's S3 "Choices".

Wouldn't it have been cool if Angelus would have came back(from wherever he was...oh,yeah,he was 'deep down',I now remember😛) and killed Billy(or fight with him for that matter) pretending to be Angel and then killed everyone in the hotel?😛

But it woulda been awsome for an "alternate reality" or whatever..
 
I thought it was so funny when Gunn was trying to get Fred to knock him out.LMAO. If you havent seen the bloobers from that epp, Wesly had the ax trying to break in to the door, the ax came off the handle into the door.lol. You'd have to see it in order for it to be funny.
 
I agree that Wes chasing Fred was really creepy, but their exchange earlier was the most disturbing part to me:
Fred: "Change can be good, I guess."
Wes: "Like, no more of these provocative little outfits you wear."
Fred: "Provocative?"
Wes: "Maybe Mommy and Daddy never explain to you that men - *grown* men - are wired a certain way. - You can't be coming in here day after day waving it in my face like this."
Fred: "What?"
Wes: "You're practically daring me to take it. Is that what you want?"
Fred: "Stop it!"
Wes: "Oh, are we standing now? Is that what we're doing?"
Fred: "This conversation is making me very uncomfortable."
Wes: "Oh, you're uncomfortable. That's rich! How do you think I feel? What do you think it's like for me with you smelling the way you do?"
Fred: "Wesley, please."
Wes: "You think you can taunt a man and get away with it? You brush up close, bat your eyes - and then when our backs are turned, you *laugh* at us."
Fred: "No, I would never..."
Wes: "Humiliate us. You think you can do anything you please because you're connected to life, because you bleed, is that it?"
Fred: "No!"
Wes: "I'll show you blood."
Wes: "What do you tell a woman who has two black eyes? Nothing you haven't already told her twice."

Yesa that freeked me out! I was like "what the hell has got Wesely?" I didnt realise he had been tuched by that billy dude and was really upset cause then it'd be awkward and all. then Aly was like "hes under a spell. dont panic" and I was calm. But it was really freeky and awkward!

Anyone else really want to see this happen now? LOL...that would be an awesome show.

This was a suspensful episode, but I really enjoyed the episode. I like suspense.
 
uhm.. reality check? Call me crazy but I think there is no chance of this happening, all my hopes is saying it should but I donbt think there is a chance, it would be too dark I rekon!
Im gonna relate that to something. The other month I was reading a fanfic and it had this whole long story, but Spike was recarnated as a whole new person cause of the whole Shanshu thing and they named him Billy!
 
This episode, an homage to IMHO one of the greatest creepy movies ever, is my absolute favorite episode. Cordy really has evolved from how she was in Sunnydale. I taped this ep and watched it at least five times. Wesley was really creepy with his darkness and everything and I can't help but think that that may have been part of the reason Fred chose Gunn over Wesley, cuz I'd been sensing lots of vibes between them. Kye-rumption!

I so agree with that ::disturb:. But it was funny when Fred kneed him in the crotch. That was funny.
