Did anyone find the relationship between Hawke and reese convincing in the slightest?

It didn't really come through to me with either of them...the relationship seemed really forced, like you wouldn't have even been able to tell there was one, if they hadn't kept mentioning "Mom".

I think so, and I agree with Jacklyn, the relationship seemed forced, but I guess that could be true in a sense, since Reese is a cop and his father was/is a criminal.
