This is a place where we can feel free to discuss the dearly departed television show, Birds of Prey. Please stay on topic(Terry and trustno1---not to name names or anything 😉 ) so we don't get closed down again. Lets start this convo with this question---What was your favorite BOP character?
 
1) The last thread wasn't closed because of the spammy-ness of it. We normally close threads at 100 posts because threads with lots of post have been known in the past to disappear inexplicably from the board.

2) Who cares about the capitalization? Let's not get off topic from the second post...

P.S. Buffy Summers-I was just teasing Terry and trustno1. I know about the "dissappearing posts" thing from the other boards I participate in. But thanx for feeling the need to explain...It went very much appreciated.
 
i didn't get the whole crippled thing with commisioner gordon's daughter....why is it cool having a handicapped super hero...from a studio standpoint...they totally ripped that off from dark angel...then they ripped huntress from jessica alba....too bad their villians were hella gay...

huntress was pretty hot...i'ma try get a pic of her...
 
because of james cameron dark nagel got cancelled! james cameron is the biggest idiot ive ever seen! 😎
 
yeah...cameron ditched the show...i think the show failed cause it was a sci fi show on a regular network...the show was ill...and it got interesting in the end...when the writers knew they could take the restraints off and let the story run its natural course...
 
the reason the show got cancelled was because they went over their budget
 
oookkkkaaayyy, back to the ORIGINAL question (see, I know how to read!) 😀 fav character: Helena, I like her attitude and sarcastim. 😀

Reese was also cool. There should have been more Helena/Reese moments 😀
 
I'm with ya on the relatives problem....🙂

I loved Oracle's character! I think her intelligence more than made up for her inabilities. She was an awesome and complex character, but in the comics, she was way more active, depite her disability. She should've been that way in the show.

P.S. Thanks go to trustno1 for keeping this thread on topic while I was away 😉
 
Oracle was my favorite, too. I liked the way she was the center and coordinator of the network. (I'm guessing making her more active would have required a bigger budet for special effects or something.)
