Hello all!
My name is Afrodite, I'm 25, I'm a high school English teacher in a suburban Chicago high school, and I spent about a month of my summer vacation watching Buffy, Seasons 1-7. I watched Firefly years ago and loved it, so I thought I'd give another Whedon show a shot.
Well, I quickly became obsessed with the Buffy universe. I have yet to watch Angel, but I'll get there eventually. On Buffy, I enjoy all sorts of pairings and characters. If I had to really pick a favorite character, it'd be hard, but if push comes to shove, I'd have to say Spike. Though truly many others come close.
In terms of Bangel vs. Spuffy, I love both for different reasons and in different ways. I am currently torn between two good friends (one is a Bangel fan and one a Spuffy fan), and they do not understand why I can't just pick a side. 😀 Well, I can't. I just can't. I loved the dynamics between both pairings.
Anyhoo, I also enjoy making fanart, and I started my first Bangel video which I hope to finish one day, and would love to share with all of you if I figure out where I could do it.
The boards are rather involved and overwhelming to this newbie, but I hope to find my footing soon. See you all around!
