So, Black Mirror will be back in less than a month and they have released a trailer for the upcoming season! I am especially excited because there will be an episode based on something Star Trek (Original series).

I'm not completely caught up but favourites are probably Nosedive and The National Anthem.

Dystopian stuff is always pretty good in my book. Although I do feel that it works better in some stories/episodes than in others. I used to read Brooker's old Guardian articles back before he was on TV and his dark humour and bleak outlook have always made me chuckle (and get all flustered). His satire game is strong, and his move into creating TV has been very natural.

As it's an anthology series I would totally recommend Nosedive! Or even reading the synopsis of an episode first to see if it's something you'd like.

I generally recommend people to start with season 3 of the show as I had the same issue with the first episode.

Only ever seen one episode which was from the first season which I liked. I will watch more.

I love Black Mirror! I'm really excited to see what they do with the new season. I love the variety we get with each episodes, with some episode seeming like a far off technological future, and others seeming like something which might happen tomorrow.

San Junipero is still one of my favourite episode of any TV show ever.

Jodie Foster is directing a episode in the new season which is just another reason to watch.

I enjoy Black Mirror most of the time. A few episodes were more inappropriate than I realised writers would have ideas for 😱

I cant remember specific titles but I liked the social media based episodes, the bees, the wedding crasher, the robot with social media memories. The reality show was the first I saw and it really got me thinking.

So far, I find that I will love 3 episodes a season and be disinterested in the other 3. Im excited to see what is next 😀
